41Couldn't get any assistance even though there was no one else in the store except the 2 staff who were too busy on the computer. I don't think they want your business so don't bother
Do not order blinds from Carpet Call, advertising is misleading, they do not have fast turn around! I ordered and paid 50% deposit on 29 Nov and still waiting for installation 15 Jan. All communication has been initiated by me, not one call or email update from Carpet Call. Disgusting service! And don't bother with temp blinds, they all fell down 3 days after being put up. Very unhappy and wish I could get a refund.
I wish I could rated them zero star, worst ever experience! We bought timber floor from Alexandria branch, sales person was helpful, however after the installation, everything was a disaster:
1.after their installation, our main bedroom door can not be closed fully, gets stuck on the trim. I asked why this was not discussed with me, they said this is the thinnest trim they can use. I asked for floor specification where I can check the requirement, never heard back from them. They just told me they are not responsible, I need to hire someone to cut the door myself.
2. A floor board looks defect to me was installed at the entrance of my master bedroom. My request for exchanging it was rejected as they said it is not defect. I asked installer to at least put it on the corner he initially said ok, but eventually left it as it is without even give us a chance to check the work.
And there are a few other things during and after the installation made us totally disappointed with carpet call. Do not waste your money here
Highly recommended. The carpet is perfect. Martin was super friendly and helpful to help us to get carpet in our new home just within 3 days.
Friendly and helpful team who helped us with our new carpet. Their professional approach made it very easy for us from the beginning to the end. It was really convenient for us that they came in on Sunday. Price was also great!

The guy who served me in store helped me choose a light coloured carpet for my bedrooms upstairs and came to my home after work.
Pretty good my only issue was installers don’t vacuum the carpet after installing so there is quite a mess despite that prompt and good service no worry’s thanks guys
Shop is very tidy, products are quality, staff are nice and professional. What’s more important, staff n products are really reliable. Salespeople are friendly and knowledgeable, always give custom made service.
They promise installation by a certain date and then disappears. When you call them (over and over) again, they tell you installation time has changed to two weeks after. They just waste your time chasing up but gives no solutions. Then when they're not happy with your constructive criticism, they hang up on you. The multiple store managers I've spoken to are rude and unprofessional.
Dreadful installation timing. Took 3 days instead of 1. Head office didn't care, nor the Artarmon store. Do not use.
I had no problems with Carpet Call Artarmon, apart from them sending really bad installers, but I had huge problems trying to get the awful installation job sorted afterwards by the main Carpet Call Sydney office, it was an absolute nightmare. It took about 40 phone calls and numerous emails. Not once was I called, I had to chase it up constantly. I was told by the Sydney manager there was nothing wrong with the job despite photo's to show otherwise and 2 other installers telling me it was a dreadful job and needed to be completely redone. Not once did I receive an apology. Thanks to the second installers the job was redone as it should have been but this was no thanks to the Sydney office or the manager.
I would NEVER EVER use this company again.
Worst customer service ever! The guy never smiled the whole time we talked to him and tried to pressure sell us product and asked us if we are going to buy or are wasting our time. He also only showed us one brand of carpet and seemed not willing to show us other brands. My wife decided to walk to look at rugs at the back of the store while I was with the guy and he questioned if I was serious as he pointed out that my wife is at the back of the store while I am talking to him. What kind of question is that to ask your potential customer!? If that is the service we are getting from the start what kind of service will we get later on? Do yourselves a favour and never ever step foot in that store!
Useless. Can't get themselves organised and fitters didn't turn up for the 2nd time now and I had to take time off work. Wasted far too much time with these clowns.
I would give 0 star if it was an option,
Worst costumer service ever seen in Australia, never ever trust them,
Went to this store on 20/6/2017 and ordered a laminate flooring, the store/sale manager was Gellen, and he confirmed they have this item in stock and organised to check measure and installation in two weeks,
I received a text message confirming the installation will be on 28/6/2017, so I paid someone ($300) to come over to move the furniture form living/lounge area (my wife is pregnant and cannot help), and removed parts of existing carpet, also took that day off from my office and stayed at home for the installers.
No one turned up until 2pm, I called the store several times but couldn't get hold of Gellen, talked to another person in the store (Sam) he said sorry the items in the stock are damaged, but will organise from other stores (it was 2pm!).
Nothing happened, so tried to contact head office and talked to Justin Marchbank (Timber manager) he said sorry we don't have this item in stock and takes one month to order from Germany! And we will come and install by 27/7/2017!
anyway, at 5: 30 pm he promised to send someone to move back the furniture by tomorrow 8am,
I took another day off (second day in row in the last day of the financial year considering the busiest day for me), and stayed at home,
after 3 hours no one turned up and this guy (Justin) even did not respond the phone), finally I found him and he said sorry our guy was busy and will come later),
I am very frustrated with them, with their lies, no respect for customer.
I asked them for refund the deposit + the money I gave the removalist + my two days of salary as it was wasted by them, but they didn't accept,
Now I am left in the limbo and don't know what to do,
Never trust them,
My only remaining option is complaining to fair trade,
Never ever trust these guys.
I called repeatedly and left my number with someone, fully prepared to spend money with them and they never called back.
Happy to take my money elsewhere.
