Cantik Spa / Sabaidee Wellness & Thai Massage Newtown

Purchased a Groupon for a 120min massage which included a 60min full body massage, 30min foot massage and 20min sauna, followed by a shower.

My therapist, Vee (?), made me very relaxed and did a great job with the hot stone and foot massage. Highly recommended.

The place could do with a clean and you do hear traffic on the road and conversations in the hallway but I’m willing to overlook these things given how great the massage was.

Booked and had a 3hr spa sesh with them on Sat 13th. Such attentive and friendly service. The set up is great: a two person spa in a private room, excellent massage, clear instructions as we moved from one treatment to another. Foot massage was my favourite. Outstanding value!

Worst massage I’ve ever had:
Cold dark cubicle, thumping from room above, talking outside the room, poor massage technique.
I had a Groupon coupon so I couldn’t cancel and walk out. Included a 20 minute sauna which was a wooden box. Heating was broken DIDNT heat at all. No manager there just two young Thai girls. DEFINITELY won’t return

This was the best massage I’ve ever had! May was so incredible! Will definitely be going back here atleast once a month. Thank you for such incredible service!

Very confused about my experience here, all of the reviews were so good. I had a 60minute full body massage with 20 min sauna. My massage therapist did not seem to know what they were doing, they mostly just rubbed oil on my body up and down. Even though it was a full body massage, they did not touch my hands or feet. I felt like the massage did nothing. It was noisy as I got the massage, with construction and loud banging, as well as a TV on in the background. Sauna had strange western church-like chanting music loudly playing. Overall very confused about my experience.

I had an amazing and such a relaxing experience the staff were friendly and listened to what I wanted done.

Worst massage ever. I generally never leave bad reviews for small businesses, but the 90 minute full body massage I received was unprofessional and painful. She rubbed oil all over my body very quickly and proceeded to dig her elbows into my back and legs. She did not massage my arms or my feet during the full body massage session, and did not ask how I was feeling throughout the session. For $109 for 90 minutes, I felt ripped off because of the lack of care that went into my massage. I felt more pain the next day than I had come in with. The one star is for the friendly receptionist. There are far better places in the neighborhood.

I am delighted that I discovered this place. Have been getting remedial massages here and I must say that I have not been disappointed. I find that the consistency is what is lacked in many Thai spas but Cantik certainly has made me think otherwise. A true five star spa!

I would trek from Parramatta to Newtown just to get a massage from Cantik Spa. My husband and I went for a couples massage and we were not disappointed! The ladies were very professional and the experience was amazing ️

Always nice to find a place to relax! Great costumer service, good value for money and highly recommended for few hours spa treatment.

I don’t enjoy my sauna? ‍️ because it was not hot enough basically I will get sweat but it was very small n felt that I don’t really get my sauna properly as expected. Body massage was good but I don’t satisfied coz they said full body massage but I got only for my legs, hands n back. She dint massage my neck also. Facial was not great. Overall I felt that I’ve wasted my money! Foot massage made me to feel better. Staff was very friendly n kind. I had high expectations based Upon the reviews.may be should avoided 3 hours package.

Staff were excellent - I did the pamper package and felt amazing afterwards. The Sauna was fantastic. The masseuse couldn't be lovelier and really got rid of my knots. She did a great job on all of the hot stone massage, facial, foot massage and body scrub.
The facilities could do with an upgrade especially the shower area (and a good clean). You can also hear the traffic from the busy road. Highly recommend if you can overlook these things which I did and really enjoyed myself.

Massage was too rough, despite saying it was too painful multiple times the pressure didn’t change much. Then the sauna was just a wooden box with some very strange not relaxing music. Finally there was just some awkward waiting around for a shower in my towel. Wouldn’t return

I spent a most relaxing Sunday afternoon at Cantik spa enjoying one of their spa packages (foot spa, body scrub, sauna and massage). My therapist, Ice, was so friendly, calming and listened carefully to my requests. I came out feeling so relaxed, and my sore muscles are much impressed and my skin is SO much better. Couldn't fault the experience. Thank you!:)
