I got a back pain next day after I went there. The massage was okay I wouldn’t say amazing. What I was uncomfortable the most was a shower room doesn’t close the door so other people could see me naked when I was taking a shower if someone wanted to use the bathroom because the bathroom and the shower room is next each other. So I had to be in a rush when I was taking a shower because I thought someone might be here.

Wow what an awesome experience from your girls I asked for a soft massage and that's what I got very sensual relaxing and been feeling great since I'm definitely coming back and hopefully get the same lady

Beautiful massage.what I expected from the description.
I had the balinese massage for two.
Was a relaxing oil massage completed with hot stone massage.
I personally didn't have a foot massage included while my husband received one and also had a more intensive hot stone massage.
For that reason I took one star off as I really felt the foot massage, even if only 5 minutes, would have completed the experience and I missed it.

I got the best massage of my life here the other day. Too stunned to ask for the masseuse's name, which was a mistake.
More generally, I've been here about 5 times and it's my favourite in Newtown.
Note: It looks like from their website that the price has gone up, but I wasn't charged that much in store. Not sure what's going on there.

the massage skill is not good. And the attitude is terrible. I know my package is relaxation massage.one of the staff just gently touch my back with the oil and only touching, no massage at all!
I have been to many thai massages, normally I can’t take much pain and I don’t them to do extra firm. But this time, I was basically forced to pay extra 10 dollars to get a proper massage, or I will feel nothing.
So disappointed! I will never come back again. And i will tell all my friends not to come.

We booked ourselves a 3hrs package at Catnik Newtown. It was a very pleasant experience. The body scrub, sauna, relaxing massage and facial was quite a treat!

The staff were friendly, very thorough and good.

The location was an easy walk from Newtown train station. The decor inside Catnik Newtown was cute. It's very clean as well.

There are 2 downside from our experience.

1) you can hear the cars/bus passing as the venue is one the main road.
2). Unfortunately, during our massage session, someone from the upstairs shop came in twice enquiring really loudly about leaking water and wanted to inspect where it was coming from. My "Zen" and relaxed mode disappeared.

It weren't for that, I'd give this place a 5 star.

Will I come here again? Not sure. But will definitely try their other location at The Grace Hotel in CBD.

Bought a voucher off groupon for a couples 60 minute massage + 20 minute sauna. Arrived early but it appeared that the therapists were running late so went in 10 later than we booked. No dramas. The massage was great but finished 10-15 minutes earlier than advertised. Sauna only lasted 15 minutes max aswell. As we left we asked the receptionist why it had been so short and she basically told us that because we had booked on groupon they basically wouldn't honour the advertised timings. Very sour way to finish a good massage.

Amazing massage and atmosphere. These guys are so good I started snoring during my session.

Staff really friendly, service is excellent and well priced. Massages here are really worth the money, sore after every massage, but the good kind of sore, and feel genuinely refreshed. Been here a few times already and service is always what I expect it to be.

Have been a couple times with a few different masseuses and all have been great.
I always feel better for days and days after coming here. Highly recomend deep tissue massage.

I've had some great experiences here and some pretty terrible ones. The massage is always nice, but the booking/ payment process is pretty hit and miss. One too many stuff ups with my bookings now, and I won't be back.

Had the loveliest day in the Spa. Received a voucher as a gift and it was heavenly. 2.5 hours with massage, scrub, sauna and facial. Masseuse was excellent and when I left there was a glass of bubbles and happy birthday note. Only difficulty was finding the spa as no one in the Grace could give clear directions. Thank you!

This spa is absolutely lovely, and the service and massage are impecable. The massage was absolutely amazing, with oils and hot stones. The sauna is the best way to finish the visit. I highly recommend this place! 10 our of 10!
