Cafe Macquarie

We rocked up here with a large group and the staff were super helpful and friendly to help us get seated (unlike most places that make a big fuss about how inconvenient a large group is for them). They have colouring sheets to keep the kids entertained and also a kids menu - our kids had pancakes and the chicken nuggets. I had the Squid Salad which was fresh and presented nicely. I would highly recommend this Cafe to anyone visiting or travelling through Belmont.

Breakfast on Sunday. The most accommodating and awesome service. We will definitely be going back.

Cute cafe to grab a gourmet breakfast meal. Would recommend to anyone driving through or locally.

Exceptional food service delivered by an enthusiastic and very friendly staff team. The new blend offered instore for coffee is a step-up from the previous, and offers discounts for BYO cups. Great venue with no sign of slowing down.

We visited this cafe this morning with a child who is coeliac and we asked if they could heat her own food in the microwave as there was nothing on the menu she could eat (except plain gluten free bread). They refused despite us explaining this. There were six of us in total and we all would have ordered food. We were forced to leave and find somewhere else to eat.

Lovely food, lovely waitress. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that my wife received toast with Vegemite instead of toast with jam.

It used to be good. New owners 6months ago unfortunately it has gone down hill. Even changed coffee brand. Won't be back. Good luck to them

Waitress accidentally spilt a coffee on me. Said sorry a few times but never asked me once if I was ok. Just cleaned the table. Manager/owner never asked if I was ok and still had the hide to charge us for our $25 meal. No compensation or anything. Coffee all over my shirt and skirt. Lucky I had double layers or the burns wouldn’t have been so mild.
Its a Shame as the food and coffee is generally good, however we won’t be returning.

Great place to eat. I went in there recently and tried out their new menu, I got the burger and chips. Tastes like a burger is meant to, absolutely delicious, great service as well! I will be back.

Nice coffee, lunch was good value and the two dishes ordered, prawn linguine and house made baked beans were very tasty. Nice atmosphere, soft relaxing music, very restful.

Good relaxed vibe. Basic cafe lunch menu, just a couple of items listed. All day breakfast menu. Willing to adapt an item on menu if needed. Almond milk option available. Full Table service. Parking areas x2 close by. Can be noisy when busy. Have a ramp access but one step up in doorway. No bathroom facilities.

Pretty good, it's hard to find a cafe that knows how to make poached eggs, I know I'm not asking for much.
