Cafe Macquarie

Been here twice now. Always friendly, phenomenal coffee, and amazing food. Both eating in and takeaway. You get what you pay for. Faultless.

Excellent as usual. Smashed avo added salmon.of course. Dirty chai xtra shot. Busy little corner Cafe plenty to look at whilst cruising through breakfast. Eggs perfect.again.fresh tasty breakfast.

Staff were great. Very welcoming and were having a laugh with me. Was offered water while I waited for my mate to arrive, and the coffee + chicken wrap was tasty

This large coffee is more expensive than XS Espresso's mocha and charges a higher fee than most beachside cafes in Belmont. The taste wasn't bad, but it wasn't exceptional for the price. When I went, there was only one table of customers, but it took over 10 minutes for me to receive my coffee because the chef and barista, who seemed to be the owners, were busy chatting. What made me feel even worse was that they didn't seem to care about my wait and were completely absorbed in their conversation. I don't think I'll come back again.

Coffees were brilliant, service was fast.enjoyable and made for a great experience! All round it was a great time with great food + atmosphere.

My wife and I rarely visit a place twice but had been to Cafe Macquarie two mornings in a row! Do try!

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious and fresh. And the coffee, tea and BabyChino with sprinkles, chocolate and marshmallows was special and tasty.

Such an amazing place for breakfast and lunch. The service is always friendly and helpful and the food is incredible. Highly recommend to anyone passing through or living in the area.

Hey everyone! If you're looking for a cozy spot with delicious food, this is the place. As soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The décor is a perfect blend of modern and cozy, lots of comfy seating and plenty of natural light. It's the kind of place where you can relax, catch up with friends, or even work on your laptop.

If you're a brunch lover like me, you're in for a treat. CafeMac offers an extensive brunch menu that will make your taste buds sing. From savory eggs benedict to fresh Acai Bowl, they have it all. I ordered their signature Sweet Potato Sage Rosti topped with a poached egg, and it was a symphony of flavors.

Not only is the food exceptional, but the staff is also incredibly friendly and attentive. The baristas are passionate about their craft and gladly answered all my questions about their menu. Their warm smiles and genuine hospitality added an extra layer to my experience.

Definitely adding CafeMac to my list of favorites.

What a great breakfast menu! I like my coffee a bit stronger and staff are happy to accommodate. Chilli eggs is what I'm really wanting to try next time.

All day brekky. Best smashed avo I've had. Yummy cold brew. Good scrabbled eggs. Friendly service. Only small downside is the close traffic if sitting outside.

Still an excellent Cafe not just surviving covid impacts but thriving due to its quality offering.

Fantastic location with wonderful service staff and excellent meals (duccha eggs with haloumi and red chilli eggs, both on sour dough toast). Worth an initial visit and regular returns!

Don't bother going to Macquarie Cafe, Belmont NSW. They serve miniature servings, stale food, and the kitchen is filthy.

Heard good things about this place but it was just ok small serves for the price

I love this Cafe, it is ideally located in the heart of Belmont with glimpses of Lake Macquarie down the street, the food is delicious and the coffee is also good.
