This place was so lively. Definitely felt luxurious and relaxing. Set in the rainforest it was quiet and calm. Lovely facilities and great service from staff. The restaurant was also lovely.

Enjoyed our stay. They were able to get us a room for 3 nights just before New Year’s Eve as our accomodation fell through at a previous location. Couldn’t recommend anymore. Feels like you are in Bali or Thailand in the resort.

I am obsessed with this resort! We came down to Byron from the Gold Coast for a quick weekend getaway. By the end of the two days we were kicking ourselves for not booking a longer trip- Crystalbrook Byron is the type of place you want to enjoy for at least a week!

The setting is stunning, so serene being surrounded by nature. I could lie in the sunroom allll day just listening to the birds. Exploring the forest area is fun, but the boardwalk is a bit unsettling as some of those boards feel like they're going to give way.

Love that the rooms are stocked with snacks, coffee and an assortment of drinks - though everything is super pricey, especially the room service. We were appreciative of the eco program that allows you to forego housekeeping in exchange for a $30/day food and beverage credit.

Another small drawback is that the rooms, being so close to eachother, aren't very soundproof. We could hear almost every conversation the guy above us was having on the phone each morning.

Location is great- quick 5 minute uber into the main town area and walking distance to the beach.

I will absolutely come back and enjoy a longer stay next time!

Fab hotel. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and private. Great amenities and awesome service from staff across the whole venue (bar, reception …) would absolutely visit again.

Beautiful and tranquil setting. Super friendly staff at restaurant, bar and reception. A big thanks to Abbey and the reception staff who found the shoes I had forgotten to pack after I checked out. All staff were so helpful.

Just spent the last 3 days here 17-19th April 2023. Rooms were stunning, food delicious and sitting pool side with our virgin cocktails were so good. Definitely coming back with family, kids loved the pool and staff so accommodating.

Beautiful setting, morning yoga, walk through rainforest to beach, cycle around, comfortable rooms, perfect escape.

I like the idea of having a rainforest and a restaurant nearby and I love the smell and taste of it too so I’m going to come back soon

Amazing rainforest retreat to relax and recharge. The sounds of the forest, connected beach and pool facilities helped keep us away from our devices and screens.

It is also close to Byron Bay but out of the busy centre, with a world class restaurant attached.

Areas to improve: room service availability and menu. Times are quite limited. Also offering a continental style breakfast as part of the package would be preferred.

One of the best hotels i have stayed in so far. This is an old city council building which has recently been converted to a hotel. The renovations are world class, attention to detail, beautiful colour scheme and super friendly staff.

Very disappointed in this resort and can't even begin to understand how they can say they are a 5 Star Rating resort. Loved the location but everything else is seriously in need of upgrade. The room I stayed in was not clean, the towels were stained and had a musty odour. I had to keep doors and blinds closed to stop people seeing in or for noise to penetrate. The restaurant food is average at best and staff take forever to get your attention, constantly doing wrong orders with bad manners and total lack of service. But the worst part is they don't accept cash and have some rubbish about BANK NOTES being dirty and having 26,000 year old bacteria on them. I mean are you guys seriously pushing that is a reason not to use cash. WTAF.

Had a perfect weekend at Crystalbrook. The location is magic and the staff were all so helpful and friendly. We loved every minute.

I thought is was nice but nothing incredible. I don't really see why they promote #ResponsibleLuxury so heavily - nothing about this stay felt like much luxury to be honest. Check in was easy and friendly, no offer to take our bags to our room or anything. (no valet either, not much service in general)

The room was nice, the bed comfortable, but it was so bright the curtains weren't efficient at all and the doors in the bedroom let so much light in. Not ideal. The bathroom was nice especially the bath,

We were booked in The Forest for dinner that night, food was really tasty, fresh and overall great and actually the staff at the restaurant was amazing. It was also very practical to have the restaurant right there.

I thought the pool area was small and super basic with so many screaming infants everywhere we actually had to leave after about 10mins. (we had just came from Elements on the other side of Byron with incredible pools)

It was a great atmosphere and the rainforest is beautiful but I probably wouldn't stay again - especially for that price

We really enjoyed our stay there.highly recommended. It's the perfect balance between going into nature and yet close to Byron Bay for food options and if you'd like a couple of drinks. We loved the resort feel, walking in nature to get to the room. The room itself is simple but nice.and the food was great if you'd like to stay in or order room service. The beach is a few mins walk away.

The staff is so friendly and helpful, on multiple occasions went above and beyond to help us.starting from Lara greeting us to when we were leaving. Thank you guys.

Found 5-6 nights to be a good balance for us, overall we'd come back and recommend it to friends and family.

If you want a relaxing getaway, this is the place to be. The moment you get here you feel relaxed. The reception flows into the pool and dinning area and moves through to a rainforest to your accommodation. Walks on the boardwalks, gym, yoga morning sessions, pool (large and a kids pool), sauna and hiring bikes, walks to the beach. Awesome air conditioned van for transfers into town. Also everything is eco friendly. I really enjoyed the option not to get the rooms cleaned every night to save the energy of cleaning unnecessarily and get a $30 credit each night you choice to have this option. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
