Buttercrumbs Croissant reviews
48 Plain croissant, pizza calzone and cherry Danish
Raspberry and coconut croissant, cream cheese and cherry pastry! Very yum
I remember when I drove past Buttercrumbs before they opened in Five Dock with my Mum and we spoke about how delicious the name sounded. The croissants are truly just as delicious! I wish this place was gatekept (always so busy!) but i’m so happy for the lovely family that run the place, that they are doing so well. Ham and cheese croissant has always been my personal favourite, however you honestly can’t go wrong. Good coffee too and the Earl Grey Iced Latte is also yummy. I’ve since moved out of Five Dock but whenever I am visiting home or in the area, I always make sure to stop by. Props to you guys:)
The croissants here are on the drier side as opposed to being buttery, but they were still pretty good. They have a large variety of pastries but the flavors overall felt reserved, and nothing really stood out.
The corn cheese didn't actually have that much cheese. I expected something creamy but it's more like spiced corn with a bit of mayo.
The strawberry nutella tasted pretty light and wasn't too sweet.
The matcha cruffin could do with a bit more filling and a bit more matcha intensity.
This place is worth a try but there are definitely more impressive bakeries in town.
I have tried croissants from all around the world and they have the best ones by far. I highly recommend them to everyone!
A wide variety of Croissants, all freshly baked and crispy. Tasted very good. Very polite and smiling staffs. Very few tables to sit, many of the customers were seen doing a take away.
I've tried the hotdog croissant and ham & cheese here, they're really good:) the service is good as well despite the staff members being busy.great location, i can have brekky here after the gym:)
Well this place came highly recommended and I was not disappointed.
Bet Croissants I have ever tasted.
Well done guys keep up the fantastic work.
I'll be back.
I know I have to go early in the morning for the most delicious croissant, but I arrived around 12. I waited in the line for about 10 mins and fortunately there was more bread left than I thought.
I tried 8 different croissant and every single one was great!
The ALMOND croissant was crazy! I like the filling in there even i done really know what it was. It's a perfect combination with coffee: p
The customer service was good as well. Hopefully i want try them all very soon!
If you love croissants then this place is guaranteed to be a treat. Short of flying over to Paris for the perfect croissant, Buttercrumbs has you covered. These pastry delicacies are always freshly cooked and served by the friendliest staff, who seem to be mostly family.
While you're there, I recommend you also try the berry tart. So good!
Best croissant around Inner west area/Five dock. I loved the spinach ricota one. I must return to try other options. Their cafe is also great. They know how to do a nice short machiato!
Tried a few different croissants. They were good but I didn’t get ‘wow’. Maybe I was expected too much as I had to be waited in a long queue to order. I’d like to try with their coffee next time
Fantastic service and amazing croissants. Must try! I recommend the almond croissant, strawberry nutella, and the palmier
Ieve the reputation of this place is over exaggerated. The taste of the croissant and their coffee is average not above that. Their business model is developed upon takeaway although they have some tables.
The dine one service was not good at all not comparable with average cafes. They have one/two water bottles for ALL the tables!
Amazing croissants! And good coffee. Situated on a busy road in five dock parking is relatively easy to find. There’s usually a small line that snakes out the door but the service is quick and they have a solid variety of croissants both sweet and savoury to choose from. There is dine in - about 8-10 seats
Loved the croissants.the shop is a bit squishy inside.but you have to eat it there! Croissants were deliciously crunchy and buttery! The almond one was amazing it had warm custard inside! Hopefully they expand their store and make it bigger.
Best croissants in Sydney! Comparable to the good stuff down in Melbourne.
Crossiants are baked fresh throughout the whole day so no cold crossaints! How good!
Super flaky and tasty!
A must visit if you like pastry.
Food: Not sure if it was a bad day, I bought croissants around 8am on a Saturday. The plain croissants were dry, and felt empty/ not enough substance inside. I think they were possibly overcooked.
Service: quick friendly service
Verdict: If I'm in the area again, I would give them a second try.
The croissants are to die for here. My only complaint is how popular it has become that getting food or coffee on the weekends there is close to impossible sometimes.
Despite that, the croissants are quite delicious, to the point that one of them is substantial enough to be a small meal
Would go there any time if I felt like having a special breakfast or brunch given it is prici-er than average.
I was told to try this place for an excellent croissant. The shop was busy, clean and professional. The plain croissant was good but nothing special. The shop seems to specialise in flavoured (sugared) croissants. If this is not what you’re interested in, then perhaps look elsewhere
Love this place! So popular on the weekends so make sure you get in there early! Very limited seating space. The is so good and reasonably priced. Finding a parking could be a pain though.
