Bunnings Penrith reviews
58One way in/ one way out is rediculas when it used to be entry and exit at both doors. One unnecessary social distancing rule for this place
Im a delivery driver I find this Bunnings is probably the worst Bunnings to deliver to in New South Wales very unreliable doc staff would rather doc staff would rather talk and play games then do they work takes 45 minutes to take two pallets of 1 truck
Zac told me - let me finish.well mate I was not speaking over you I was simply answering your question. Anyway if you are tired and can't be square better work in back office where you wontface customers.
Always great to go to Bunnings, however, on the weekends there is one annoying lady at the check outs that has to comment on everything people are buying. It's one thing to be friendly and another to be annoyingly nosey
We went in store on a Thursday night to buy a kitchen cabinet. We asked where it was and went to the isle. We couldn't find the product and the lady showed us, we had to ask for help 2 more times and she kept walking away and wouldn't help.
We gave up and ordered it for delivery online. When the driver arrived he was incredibly rude and told me to carry the 3 50kg+ boxes up the stairs to our apartment myself. When i called the store they said I had to pay an additional $100 for delivery on top of the $40 I had already paid because "door to door" delivery was only to our apartment complex and not to our apartment. We rebooked delivery for a different day, only to call on the day and find that it was never rebooked.
First time ever I have had a bad experience at Bunnings. The older woman who assisted me
was not very helpful like she didn't want to be there but the woman at the check out was very pleasant.
Young bloke named Nathan very helpful. I actually hate Bunnings and you can't even get a sausage at the moment, great store and all I'm just a complete hack when it comes to doing anything involving skill, patience and coordination. Rather than striding confidently into my local Bunnings with excitement, aplomb and gumption I am filled with crippling dread and anxiety. I came home feeling ready to build something but in reality failed miserably at my project because even though I had the right materials turns out I can't properly identify and use tools very well or in some cases at all.
My husband is an essential worker in construction and we have a small local business in the area that was a customer and account holder at your store. Over the weekend we received an email saying that you will be removing the tradies and emergency services hourhours from your store. We think this is disgraceful as my husband has been in the store outside these times and found lines to be 10 plus people deep. As someone who has already lost their job to convid-19 i find this insulting that you allow this to happen during normal operating hours and also now risk my husbands health. I understand we are flattering the curve however, I feel this move is one of greed especially as Penrith is a hot spot. Other businesses have had to make sacrifices and Bunnings should to.
Please re-instate these times while are workers who are deemed essentialn if the rest of the public wish to risk their health, let them do so.
Until this is re-instated we will be taking our business elsewhere.
Well stocked and helpful staff. However, very understaffed Sunday afternoons. Long waits to get any assistance South Penrith store.
The staff were great. Helped me find what I was looking for so I could get in and out without wasting my employer's time.
It appears that Emily the klutz@ this bunnings store has little to no idea of speaking to a customer.
I have reached enquiring about a product and on each occasion she has cancelled my call four times
Finally has the audacity to state that I respect her and speak to her appropriately.
Clearly there has been no disrespect and my manner has been civil.
It appears she lacks the compentcy in transferring a call to another department.
But she rather argue with me and debate my manner.
Thanks Emily
This is a good Bunnings store with pretty much everything you could think of, the only feedback I would have is there was a lack of customer service representatives on the floor and for what I needed I ended up having to ask three different staff members where it was. For such a huge store and not everyone being a handyman I’d expect to not have to hunt down staff to be able to find what I needed.
What bloke doesn't love walking the Isles of Bunnings? Although, one thing was amiss today as my mate and I walked into Bunnings South Penrith. Our wives took the lead? Then the penny dropped. They walked directly towards the garden section, leaving us to explore unhindered.
Great range, great prices, great staff very welcoming and knowledgeable in all areas of home and hardware. Would definitely visit them again
Staff are reluctant to go out of their way to greet, let alone help you. I asked where I can find a particular product, I was point with a grunt to an isle number. No one is busy doing anything product. No one has any urgency, 1 person on a register is pathetic. Every single time I visit the store.
Classic corporate giant, no care for quality service.
Excellent service. Bought toilet 2 weeks ago and today opened the box to find it broken. Lost receipt. Bunnings staff replaced item, no questions asked.
Today I went to Bunnings at Penrith trade center for some gardening stuff. One of the staff who was there packing was very rude, insisted that I was wrong with the description (I have been using it for years!). Her comments were insulting. Then the cashier was also rude.no greeting, no smile and pulled a long face. Bunnings, remember that with unhappy staff you get unhappy customers. Bunnings at North Penrith is so much better!
Bunnings was fine every 1 was friendly BUT the 2 girls working in the cafe we stood waiting while they both were chatting to themselves they need more training in customer service
Always go there when I need something last minute for work! As all other Bunnings they have everything you need. Helpful and friendly staff
Extremely poor quality customer service today both from Front 'greeter' and in the Gardening. The 2 gardening c.s. Peeps felt flat and really didn't give the excellent service I'm used to at Valley Heights Bunnings!?
