Bunnings Castle Hill reviews
46Sometimes a bit harder to find things because it's 2 story but love the underground parking. All Bunning should have it
Strangely I really enjoy going into Bunnings, though I find it terribly hard to get someone to help me out when I need advice. I usually have to search the aisles for ages to find an employee, then at least half the time they're already serving someone, so I loiter nearby waiting for my turn and on more than one occasion they have wandered off to find whatever the first customer was looking for and somehow managed to evade me.
So, I have one tip for customers, and one recommendation for the store.
TIP: When going to Bunnings, go to their website, set which store you're going to and then search for all the items you want to buy. The website shows which aisle the product is in, so just make a list of the items and the aisles then you can go straight there without needing any help - you can even put the items in aisle order so you can take the shortest path through the store.
RECOMMENDATION: It would be useful if you had a "request service" button or buzzer, it could be in each separate "department" or at the front of the store, but customers could press a button, take a buzzer or a number and then be next in line in the queue for people waiting for service in a particular department. I know Masters trialed something like this before they went out of business, but I heard that it was a problem because of the way they linked it to staff performance.
1. Broken drawer of a desk, purchased & reported immediately but still not replaced despite new desks sitting in stock;
2. Ordered a grey chair $199, waited for it to arrive but ended up with a black one.
Worst staff. Worst experience. If i could i give no stars that would be a compliment. They have no sense of customer satisfaction.
It's a Bunnings. Seems larger than most as it has items that not all stores have. Be prepared to sacrifice your dignity due to the mandatory face nappies required for all shopping experiences and in the knowledge that most of the products are cheap junk made you-know-where.
