Bunnings Alexandria reviews
51I'm giving 4 stars because sometimes stock is not quite accurate, they say it's available but isn't on the shelf. Some difficulty getting staff members to help always seem too busy to help sometimes. Younger lads seem a bit more friendly &helpful & not as grumpy. Cafe closes down too early in the afternoon and no more waffles. I also recently oy figured out there are passenger lifts available to everyone instead of trapsing up that long Escalator, I thought they were mainly for tradies but yeah it helps to know this. It's a rather large Bunnings two levels. Bit of a workout getting things from all the different sections. Pet toys and cat & dig food also available now. I love to find a bargain here sometimes if you look hard enough there's a Customer satisfaction policy or something so you can sometimes have things marked down if any faults wth packing etc or parts missing. Got a nice bamboo blind marked down
We needed a cordless chainsaw and were served by staff member Froi who went above and beyond in first assessing our needs then recommending a chainsaw and taking his time to explain how to use it. He’s an asset to Bunnings. Thank you Froi
Renovating my sons apartment. Had a good hour checking all the stuff we need for bathroom, bedrooms and living area. Fantastic range great priced.
You really need a barista in the cafe, takes 20 mins to get a coffee in the mornings, largely because of all the bunnnings staff in the cue ahead, and consistently understaffed and overworked cafe staff
They’ve got everything everything like everything except fishing stuff your limit is your budget
Always go to bunning. For home improvement and garden needs. Thanks for having anything for home improvement
They should put the aisle for what is up and down. Otherwise when being told it is aisle 70 you need to try and guess up or down
As far as Bunnings goes, this is one of the best I have been to! As it's in a purpose built structure, they have great space and accessibility. Some of the other Bunnings such as Artarmon, Randwick and maybe even Ashfield seem constrained by the buildings that were originally there and, as older structures, don't have the space for the range that the Alexandria hammer barn can accommodate!
With respect to the actual items sold, you get what you expect at any Bunnings, great quality products at prices cheaper than your local hardware store can manage. Some of it is a bit of a con, as some of the brands that they stock are unavailable elsewhere, still, I know where I will always go when I need a new tool or other home improvement item!
. Also, the nurseries are great if you need a plant or some soil!
Terrible experience!

The NSW health rule in this Bunnings Warehouse is ONLY apply to Asian.
In the same time, the manager allowed all other peoples in same household get in together but not Asian. Very uncomfortable feeling of the racism. Even the other staff standing at the entrance she saw this happened and said to us“that is really unfair for you guys, I saw other couples come in at the same time as you, but they did not checked and stopped them. I don’t understand why she do this to you. ” Really appreciate that lady saying the truth.
But for the very rude lady manager who work on 10/09/2021 at around 1: 30pm, NSW Health rules is the same rules for everyone who living in NSW, I don’t believe the rules just targeting Asian. You got 1 staff to check people in that make you let other same household people get into the shop is not a good excuses for you to break the rules.
The virus will not give you any chance to explain.
DONT USE CLICK AND COLLECT! I ordered on line and the item I wanted was available but my order was cancelled because they can’t pick your order in time. Waited an hour on hold and got nowhere
You really need to work on your click and collect system, it’s a bit of a joke. Emails saying the order is ready, then it’s not ready, then it is, then booking a time slot is unavailable, then the collection email was sent in error and the order isn’t actually ready
Due to COVID 19 Bunnings was only doing click and collect so I ordered a few products online and it took a week to get an email that they were ready. My order was an incredibly simple order comprising of very common in stock always products. When I went to collect they had set up the carpark where you drove in a designated lane and they stopped you and took your Oder number and proceeded to collect it for you. For the amount of staff they had that day I was bewildered at how long it took which was at least 40 mins. It was very disappointing and surprisingly for a normally well organised company.
I went with 'Drive & Collect' due to the COVID restrictions and had a great experience. Received emails with a date and time to collect my items. Arrived and rang the phone number on the wall. Told the member my order number and my order was bought out to the car by a very pleasant member. A great experience.
I mean, it's the largest Bunnings in the world, what's not to love! They have two stories of all the things you'll ever need in the categories that Bunnings services. There is a huge indoor plant section, as well as the massive nursery. The trades and pain sections are also massive, so they stock everything.
To be completely honest I was a bit of a finicky customer, especially for COVID, but they showed immense amounts of compassion and consideration that I feel should be recognized. Word of advice to anyone - don’t try picking up 25 plant pots on a bicycle ️ Shout out to the click and collect team whom helped me and especially the guy that helped me out when I dropped some of my stuff.
This is a very big Bunnings. Can be a little difficult to work out the Isles since they're spread over two floors, but the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Good car park and easy to access with a trolley as well
Good place to buy things for bathroom.i need to buy something for emergency.find it here.thanks God.bought it straightaway.
One star for allowing abuse, allowing one customer to hog the queue and for poor customer service at the paint mixing section.
During a quiet time when there was only one customer behind me I waited 15 mins to be served. Served. Not including time it took to mix the paint.
The young asian attendant allowed an aggressive aboriginal woman to hog the queue for 15 mins. They gave advice to the customer, they fetched paint for her, they let her jump to the front of the line when she was ready to have her paint mixed.
When i complained, the aboriginal woman became abusive and the attendants ignored it.
I bought items online, drive and collected. They were out of stock of an item so gave me a cheaper item and said they would refund me the difference, they didn't. I didn't take the replacement product as it was a low quality item. I have not been refunded. I've tried to contact them numerous times and no answer. Poor service.
This is one of the bigger Bunnings store. Great range of products and plenty of stock.
Rating 4 stars here as Bunnings team member at the Special Orders desk, which adjoins the kitchen section, only put in minimum effort to help with my electric cooktop measurement enquiries saying, "Ring Samsung tomorrow to ask. " I found (on my own) the cooktops were on display and I used my tape measure. I went back to tell his colleague that I was unhappy with his attitude.
