Bradman Museum & International Cricket Hall of Fame reviews
68 An absolutely brilliant display of cricket from it's inception through WSC to the current game and womens cricket.
Highly recommend to any fan of the game.
Great tribute to the cricket legend. Very well maintained and must visit for cricket enthusiasts
A big tribute to Sir Don Bradman. This is one of the best place to visit. Loved this museum.
Highly recommended.
Fantastic cricket memorabilia.
Admission price of $25 pet adult should be lowered to attract more visitors.
It was on my bucket list to visit I took my 85 year old mum with me it is a beautiful place to visit and recommend it to every one
A good place to be for a cricket fan.
But please make sure to buy tickets before walking in. We didn’t notice it was ticketed, the ticket collection reception is slightly away from the entrance and the receptionist is not always at the desk. We just walked in, later to be only called outside by the receptionist. She was visibly very upset that we walked in without tickets, which is fair. But in our defence, it’s not easy to figure out that the place is ticketed.
So, don’t forget your tickets!
Excellent information and material from days gone by. You will need to take a fair swag of time.
I do like cricket and this is kinda the Aussie version of church, for cricket. Staff on hand were lovely, really interesting details. An easy few hours here if you enjoy the game
It was a great visit to learn more about the man & the sport he made his own.
Wife's Grandfather had told us stories about playing at Hurstville club with Donald but we never knew it until today.
Good Museum, lots of exhibits. Could be updated. Still shows Afghanistan as an Affliate and Ireland as an Associate in a section on International Cricket. But still worth the trip.
Nice sausage rolls. Also nice that dogs are allowed here. The coffee is disgusting and there are no options for people who are lactose intolerant.
Really good experience if you are a cricket fan. I am sure you will come to know new things related to cricket history.
Last visited it about 10 years ago, it's been updated and is still a great place to visit for any cricket fan
The overview of the history of cricket was very informative and I left with a huge respect for Bradman's achievements (despite not being a cricket tragic or a fan of sport in general). What a record! The last sections on the way out on cricket from Kerry Packer onwards didn't interest me much, though. It is not a big museum but rather expensive for its size.
I Highly recommend this museum. I'm not a cricket person.bur I learnt alot about the history of the game, as well as other facts the kept me intrigued the whole tour. I recommend that U do take a guided tour as is has alot of perks that you would otherwise miss if you were to just walk around and have a look youreslf.
Well worth investing in the tour, very informative and enjoyable.great experience.
The Bradman Museum name has evolved into the Bradman Museum & International Cricket Hall of Fame. The rich Bradman Museum collection features in the upgraded Bradman Gallery.
It was Sir Donald Bradman’s vision that ‘cricket continue to flourish and spread its wings. The world can only be richer for it. ’ To honour this vision, the museum has been expanded to not only show the importance of the Don’s contribution to cricket and Australian history, but also cricket’s important role throughout the world. As one of the world’s most popular sports, cricket has the capacity to bring different cultures and nations together. The Musuem recognises this potential.
The Bradman Museum & International Cricket Hall of Fame brings cricket to life with interactive touch screens, an expanded range of displays featuring original and match used equipment and five huge video screens which place cricket in the context of world history.
Lovely cricket oval and grandstand. Didn't visit museum due to time constraints. Parking limited (due to nearby hospita?)
A brilliant experience for all cricket lovers! Wish we had come here sooner and would highly recommend it!
Very proud being involved with painting this museum library and Cafe. The people have great Australian country spirit. Loved being part for the time I was there. Not just a tourist attraction, it's real people representing the great Australian spirit. Versatile Talent.
Until then I didn't realize that Australia and England had a war (kind of a trade war) because of cricket. Mainly body-line to Australian players and how cricket was important to both countries.
