Bradman Museum & International Cricket Hall of Fame reviews
68Lots of memorabilia. As a cricket badger it's a dream to see where the greatest started their playing career.
An absolutely stunning place to visit. You can get great insights of the history of cricket dating back to 1700 s with so many unknown facts including the chance to see many historic cricket accessories and their evolution to date.
Excellent place for any cricket lover to spend the day.
The photographs, the write ups, the video clips etc.makes it a treasure trove of information for any person interested in cricket.
The only shortcoming I saw was that the shop with memorabilia was a bit disappointing.
Don't forget to take a photograph next to the Bradman statue which is just close by outside.
Don Bradman museum is a must see for any cricket enthusiast. Well set out. Very informative collection. Highly recommend.
The "cricket tragic" in me thoroughly enjoyed this well-appointed sports museum in Bowral. Well worth the trip down from Sydney (or, like me, up from Melbourne). The "boy from Bowral" is front & centre, although it's not just the Don that's in the spotlight.there are plenty of other exhibits covering some of Aussie crickets finest players.
If you like cricket this is a must. One of the best museums that I've been to and set in the beautiful Southern Highlands
This place is amazing, so much to see andcread about. Also has interactive exhibits as well. Loved all the information about women's cricket.
Very interesting but It's just too expensive to go there. Adults are $27 as are kids over five. A 6 or even 8 year old child is not interested in cricket history, they are there because mum and dad want to go there.they can't just sit in the car! $27 for a child is ridiculous. Just my opinion I guess.
If you’re visiting Sydney and are a lover of cricket, this is certainly the place to visit. A really interesting place to learn more about the game as well as the man himself. A great deal of historical items are on display as well as cricketing memorabilia. The staff were helpful & polite too. The paintings on display of some of cricket’s greats was a particular highlight.
Amazing place for sincere cricket enthusiasts. Wasn't aware of this gem and was recommended. Comprehensive, superb historical info and unknown fun facts. Definitely worth a visit!
An amazing history of cricket and The Don. If you're a cricket lover it's well worth the visit. Bowral is a nice town with cafes a short distance away plenty of parking and reasonable entry fee
Interesting presentation highlighting some great achievements in Australian cricket.
The audio visual displays in particular, are cleverly interactive.
Great souvenirs and very reasonable entry costs. Staff are particularly helpful
All Australian sport lovers would enjoy a visit
A comprehensive museum covering the career of Bradman plus other major moments like the centenary test, World Series cricket, the rise of womens cricket and a tribute to Shane Warne plus more more.
It is a worth visiting place for Cricket enthusiasts. Many things to know, specially Sir Don Bradman Section. I'm sure, you won't be coming out without buying any souvenir from the store.
I thoroughly enjoyed the exhibitions, stories and videos.
Very well set out with plenty of seats to watch videos.
Very much larger than the previous museum.
Covers the full history of works cricket.
Extensive displays of actual items.
Audiovisual displays.
However the biggest issue is
IT'S WOKE why destroy a Australian iconic game our history because some idiot yes IDIOT is woke probably the boss of Cricket Australia who does not realise it's a game enjoyment not a platform for WOKENESS.
I won't be going back to be bombarded with political messages like what has the Port Arthur Massacre to do with cricket. Well it scrolls across a giant scene repeatedly.
The Stumps Cafe is good but unfortunately it is closed on two days leaving no where to eat or get a cup of tea.
A great place to visit, very serene, I've not actually been inside the museum as of yet, but I do enjoy sitting near the field to eat lunch, and I guess it's a mutual feeling, as it's quite the popular place, however, parking can be quite difficult to find, especially for we disabled folk.
But overall, definitely worthy of the rating I'm giving!
A lot of great exhibits to experience covering not just Bradman's career but Australian cricket in general. Much to see and read. Would reccomend for avid cricket fans and mildly interested alike. Not the cheapest museum I have been to but if you take your time well worth it.
If you’re a cricket enthusiast, this place is for you!
Full of memorabilia, history and info on everything cricket with a focus on the legend himself Don Bradman.
I haven’t visited since I was a kid and things have definitely been upgraded and so much more has been included.
Definitely worth a visit if you love all aspects of the game
This is a great place to visit and see some history on Australian cricket and the legends that made it
