Disappointed with being charged full price for an old library book as in my opinion booktopia rewards people for doing immoral things by doing this when I buy a book I expect it to have no plastic coating, bar code or stolen from somewhere

It’s been a while since I ordered from Booktopia and I forgot how good they are. My item arrived fast (much faster than many other businesses these days) and in pristine condition. Happy to recommend and order again from here again in the future.

First time purchasing from Booktopia and I am impressed. Easy to find the books I wanted that I haven't been able to find in stores. Delivery was faster than expected, which was a bonus!

After not receiving my package following an email from Australia Post that the delivery process has commenced, I contacted Booktopia. The responded within 24 hours that the item had been lost and they would resupply it. The next day Australia Post had the item again and it was delivery a couple of days later.

Great service and appreciate you going above and beyond.options were available for me to follow up directly with Australia Post, and you could have redirected me to do so, however you took this up yourself to provide a great end to end service.

Placed order online and was notified right up to dilivery of the books. Would recommend Booktopia to anyone.

Another positive experience with Booktopia! The parcel arrived on time and the new packaging was great. The book was packed well it was in perfect condition. Will definitely order books again through Booktopia.

Ordered a textbook for university from Booktopia, arrived quickly and was not evenly slightly damaged in transit. Price was also good (if such a thing can be said for a uni textbook), as most other first hand sources were selling for $20-$40 more

Ordered a book that was in stock and ships in 1-2 days. The book had not been shipped 2 weeks later and I had to chase it up, to be told that the book was not in stock. Terrible communication and and customer service.
Book depository are cheaper, better service and faster postage.

Amazing service, received my book within the week and I am really appreciative of the packaging they used to ensure that my book arrived safely with no damage. Would recommend Booktopia without hesitation.

I cannot unsubscribe as the link is faulty and despite repeated emails they have not unsubscribed me. So frustrating when there’s a couple of emails a day getting sent through to you

Thanks to manager Darren and personally to Rebecca; SAVED MY BUTT! I'm a uni student and was under an immense amount of pressure to find and purchase a 'cognitive psych' textbook.

Rebecca really understood and helped plea my case to her very considerate manager. They were the ONLY book store in Sydney to have this book in stock (not an ignorant statement; I made CALLS!) and flexible enough to meet my need.

Need I say more? ! 5 STARS because I couldn't give 10:)

I ordered a book on the 7th of December, got an immediate confirmation that the order went through.

Then an hour or so later got an e-mail saying the book was not in the stock but they are getting more.

2 weeks later, I get in touch with customer service and am told they will be getting more stock AFTER Christmas.

So by this time they would have had my money for over 3 weeks.

When asked why not just list the book as out of stock on their website, (to which if I had seen that, I would have purchased from somewhere else), I was told they take the money upfront, then order it from their suppliers.

If you're going to order from them, maybe call them or use live chat to make sure the item you want is actually in stock before handing over any money.

Dreadful customer service. After originally been told I would have the book within a few days I contacted customer services when there was no sign of it. They told me I would have confirmation it was on the way on two separate dates. Eventually I was told the book was in stock. This could of been communicated originally to me. Awful and generic responses

Preordered a book collection that was supposed to come out 16th of oct asked them how long they think it would take for them to get it, they responded with its been delayed to 25th even tho amazon had stock of it, come 3rd of nov still haven't heard anything about it even tho i have sent emails

Very professional! It is very easy to search and order books from Booktopia. The book was packed with care to minimise the risk of damage. Arrived safe and promptly! Definitely will use their service in future and recommend it to anyone.

If you are looking for some architecture books locally, this is one of the best place you can shop. Reasonable price compared to other famous franchise bookshop in Australia. This was my first order and definitely not the last order. Let’s read some books.

I ordered Hippopposites and Rhymoceros from Booktopia as the local didn't stock them. One was received next day and the other a few days later. Great selection of books, friendly helpful service and prompt turnaround.

TERRIBLE. First time ordering a book gave my exact details paid the postage. It was getting here on time eventually the tracking stops or it’s not accurate. Had to chase it up through Australian post to find it out it’s gone to the wrong house. There’s no contact in the email nothing doesn’t even have the address I gave them just a suburb code. Better of trying Amazon I want a refund too.

Preordered months in advance through authors bio. Book was still not shipped over a week after it was released to public. Zero point preordering, holding your money for no reason. Disappointed!
