Great customer service. Notifies immediately when there are any issues with ordering and distribution, and they will fix it as soon as possible.

Waited 2 months for my order to be delivered even though 3 of the 5 books I had ordered were apparently "in stock". Actually getting a response from their "customer service" is like pulling teeth. It took 3 attempts of contacting customer service before I received a response where a moving of warehouse was the cause of delay, no actual update of when my order would be shipped. Items shouldn't be listed as "in stock" and "ships in 1-3 business days" if there are expected delays going on. I have been ordering from Booktopia for years and over the last year at least, the customer service and delivery time frames have become terrible. Why would I order from them again when I can buy the same items from Amazon at a cheaper price and know it will be delivered (for free) within 2 days. Very disappointing as I have always wanted to support Australian businesses.

A great experience in purchasing a product. Easy to use website, and great prompt delivery.

I ordered a textbook urgently needed by my daughter for her assignment. All other vendors were taking at least 3 weeks to deliver. I put a note when ordering if explaining the problem. Booktopia delivered it in within 3 days keeping in view my request. That’s unheard of service.

AusPost lost my book in shipping, told me to contact Booktopia to organise a replacement. Messaged them a week ago, zero response. I won't be buying anything from them again

A great variety of books at excellent prices. The whole delivery process was very smooth. Will definitely be purchasing through Booktopia again.

Ordering was super easy and our parcel arrived on time and was left where I requested, all in all I'm very happy.

I received the book I ordered quite quickly. And it was very helpful to see it's progress through the postal service. I'm very happy with the customer service at Booktopia, and it is now my go-to site for books.

Ordered books on the 24th June & said in stock to ship in 2-3 days.as of the 19th of July nothing other than status of order is waiting to be picked. Rung 3 times & each time the same story of delays due to warehouse issues & it will be picked this week.still not picked! They were happy to take my money 4 weeks ago but not ship the books. Would not use them again.

As a first time user of this service I was pleasantly surprised at how fantastic it was. My purchase arrived within a week of my order. The book itself was as clean and pristine as if first coming out of the publisher's/printer's box. And.not a bit of plastic in the packaging, so I could happily place all the packaging in the recycling bin! An Australian company delivering in a sustainable way, yay!

During Covid-19 restrictions and not being able to access libraries or shops, and I’m an avid reader, Booktopia has been amazing - fast, efficient with a huge catalogue and extremely good packaging. They are my go-to for reading material.

The package was squished into my letter box when I requested it be left at front door as it was raining, letter box was left open so packaging had started to get wet.

The sticker price on the back of the book when removed left a horrible sticky residue and a dark mark.

The product pattern of whale also peeled off under the price sticker.

Very disappointed after purchasing many books in the past.

Thankyou for your quick service and great packaging. The book arrived in great condition. It is to be a Christmas present.

I don't know how Booktopia does it, but their customer service and delivery times are top-notch. Even books that aren't in stock are quickly resupplied and shipped out. Truly a great place to buy books from.

Ordered 2 books 4 weeks earlier than required. At the time, the website stated delivery within 10-14 days. No communication from Booktopia until I contacted them on day 15. Advised that there was a delay and that the books would be delivered within the week. Contacted again and checked the website. Expected delivery now 2.5 months after I ordered them. It was only at this point when I complained that a refund was even offered. Absolutely disgusted with the customer service. Will never use this company again.
