45Jennifer at BCS at Chatdwood is marvellous at what she does. She is promopt at responding to requests for jobs to be done to our scheme and always follows up any concerns we have with any tradesmen she sends to fix a job. She has over 50 schemes to deal with but always gives you the impression that you're the only one on her books as she always gives you the time to go over any issues you may have and offers constructive solutions to them. She has a sense of humour and nothing is too difficult for her under any circumstances. We couldn't recommend Jennifer more and are glad she has been our strata manager for the last three years. Here's to the next three!
Jey Osmen is a professional, responsive, organised and courteous strata manager. Whenever there has been an issue and reported to Jey, he started the process to fix it swiftly.
I found Joshua Kim to be responsive and most helpful. He took prompt action to assist us in our requests for information in respect of strata affairs needed urgently for our purchaser clients.
Jennifer Lindner became our Strata Manager at a very challenging time and has steered us through most patiently and expertly. She is unfailingly polite, deals with Body Corporate issues promptly and with commendable attention to detail. We are lucky to have her.
Marie Gomez stepped in to assist our strata scheme while we were between regular managers. This happened to be a particularly stressful time with some plumbing emergencies, and Marie went above and beyond to explain the issues and arrange the repairs. Thank you, Marie.
BCS Chatswood through our Strata Manager Jennifer Lindner provide a thoroughly professional service for our Strata Plan at McMahons Point. Response times to queries form Strata Committee members are speedy and AGM & Strata Committee Meetings are well chaired and documented in accordance with the Act. Monthly reconciliation financial statements are timely and fully detailed.
Do they give kickbacks to owners corporation for strata signatures? These guys do absolutely nothing. Won't reply emails, tell you to solve things yourself with the council or police. Most useless people my money goes to.

Very bad strata company that will go to all levels to achieve own goals, at the detriment of customers.

If you are reading this you are looking for a reference. Our years with BCS leave one conclusion – please stay away and find someone else. We have. Their Strata Managers, Mr Jean Jeon and Ms Sarah Avery, may be much loved by their families but hopeless as Managers. Their main problem is lack of knowledge of the Strata Act and failure to respond to problems in a timely manner, if at all. The other negative reviews were for a reason. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
These guys are absolutely unprofessional! Like some others that have complained they do not respond. Even their reception team thinks they are up there and can just hang up the phone when they don’t like you or don’t like dealing with anything you are requesting.
We have had to deal with them over several years, initially while my husband was EG and POA for my Mother-In-law who had a unit in a building they manage and now when he is the executor of her will the problem continues.
Their reception staff will ask for all your details so they can forward a message to the Strata Manager Julie Edwards however once they have taken the details Julie is too busy to respond and you never get a call back. When my husband was the EG for my MIL, despite several emails from us and my mother-in-law’s attorney they refused to send any documentation to my husband and when after almost a year my husband contacted a senior manager he was told that apparently despite all the documents and emails they had been receiving from us they were accidentally sending all correspondence to the wrong address! No apology offered ever just an excuse!
Whether you leave a message with their precious reception desk or email them, you are luck if they respond, forget react!
We now have a several investment properties around Sydney and I will ensure that this lot does not get management rights anywhere that we own. They probably have too much on their plate to respond or react anyway!
We have been lucky enough to have Neil Robinson as our Strata Managing Agent for almost 2 years. What a difference he has made. Neil took over the management of our plan when there was a lot happening with regards to major capital works. Neil was instrumental in ensuring that these projects ran on time and to budget with minimal disruption to our strata owners and in particular for the residents which resulted in zero negative feedback. He has always provided clear and concise advice regarding what work is required, assessing various quotes and co-ordinating the various projects, some concurrently in the challenging midst of the COVID pandemic. Our plan is in the best shape it has been in. Neil delivers an excellent service and continually goes above and beyond. He always maintains a professional approach and has the right tradesperson for the job no matter how large or small, is extremely respectful, responsive and has every task organised in a timely and efficient manner
Jean Jeon has been our strata manager for over 5 years. He has proven to be professional, reliable and hard-working. He has always been very prompt in addressing any concerns raised by the Strata committee. I would highly recommend Jean to those searching for Strata management service.
Rob Davis (of BCS Chatswood in Sydney) is our strata manager for a block of 6 units. He is an outstanding strata manager and always goes above and beyond in delivering his services. He is transparent and open in his dealings with all unit owners (whether they are on the strata committee or not) and always has a calm, measured approach.
Key strengths:
- detailed and diligent record keeping (very important, particularly when it comes time to follow-up agreed actions items)
- professional manner: whether dealing with unit owners, external tradespeople (obtaining quotes, coordinating maintenance works), external service providers (legal, etc)
- attention to detail: follows up on all issues in a timely and responsive way. It is clear when Rob distributes notices, etc that he has read them in advance and is able to address ad-hoc queries from unit owners
- availability: Rob always makes himself available (whether by phone or email) and also does not hesitate to chair meetings, etc that go beyond the allocated time (not that this happens very often).
Highly recommend Rob and thank him for his services.
Very dissapointed in strata managers at this branch. They had no idea how to handle noise complaints, which I had to correct and over ride. They made no attempt to mediate over very obvious noise problems from their contract gardeners using noisy and poluting 2 stoke petrol leaf blowers for 2 hours+ every week, a massive over servicing of a property in Naremburn and a waste of corporate levy fees. After referring this problem to management, nothing improved. Avoid BCS for your unit managment. Once you select a strata manager, it is very hard to remove them.
Jennifer Lindner is our Strata Manager and conducted our AGM via video link. Jennifer was very professional and was able to move the meeting along and complete everything within the hour. Our owners have only the property in common and various personalities can be a challenge but Jennifer handled this with tact and made sure everyone was heard. Congratulations and thank you Jennifer.

Stuart Greene at the Chatswood office has been our strata manager for 2 years now and in that time I have come to admire how hard he works at his job. He answers all my calls. His knowledge of strata compliance issues is impeccable and his advice is always straightforward with a dash of wit and humour thrown in. I've given him a 5 star rating because under difficult circumstances he always tries his best.
I am a real estate property manager and have owned my investment apartment for approx 17 years so I have had my fair share of dealing with Strata managers over the years. Julie Edwards is by far the most proactive Strata manager I have come across. She gets the job done with no fuss. She is helpful and no job is big or too small. She really is an asset to BCS. I hope that she will continue to mange our block for many more years.
BCS Chatswood is a great, community minded workplace. My dealings with the office have always exceeded my expectations. I would recommend BCS Chatswood to anyone looking for professional strata management.
