Blue Tongue Carpets

Our company was moving to a new office and had a tight turn around time to install carpet in the new space. I went to Blue Tongue Carpets because they had good reviews and were local to Avalon Beach, and I always try and support local. Stephan said that he could meet this timeframe. I went to look at samples at the showroom but they didn't have the sample of the carpet we were planning to use. He said the sample would take a day or two to come in. I made it very clear that we wanted to go ahead but that I needed to see a sample of the carpet before ordering it. I chased him up every couple of days. Ten days later he said that he had the sample, but then said that they now couldn't do the installation in time for our move. We were let down badly. In the end, they didn't do anything they said they would do and didn't appear to care.

Wow what a great result! Thrilled with the entire process, from the initial advice when choosing product, a wide range of solutions, they arrived when they said they would and the installation was performed with precision and absolute care taken of walls and other furniture. Highly recommended.

I found everybody so helpful and efficient at Blue Tongue Carpets it took me while to find the right colour but once found all systems go, the carpet layer did a wonderful job installing it, it was a huge job as had 4 rooms to do he was a dynamo fantastic.
This is the second time I’ve used them and would highly recommend them.

We arranged for a quote. Stephan arrived and it seemed he had a real attitude, was quite aggressive and rude. He did not really engage with us in conversation about our needs, but simply stated 'this is what you need to do' and basically, if we didn't agree, he didn't want to work with us - he did not listen to us at all. He then left as he said basically if we didn't do it his way he wouldn't work with us - with no discussion! I have never before experienced this type of (bad) customer service EVER! Glad he showed his true colours before we did anything with their company - I can only imagine trying to deal with him if there were any issues. I will certainly make sure anyone I know hears about it.
