Excellent store at the harbour end of Balmain which sells quality Australian -made products at good prices. In particular, it boasts a great range of Central Desert Aboriginal art sourced directly from the Warlakurlangu art cooperative at Yuendumu, which ensures ethical treatment of the artists and impeccable provenance for buyers (via the Warlakurlangu certificate that accompanies every painting). Friendly and helpful proprietor too, making the shop well worth a visit. Highly recommended!

I have bought many things from this shop - mans tie and send to Japan, scarf with australian flowers sent to Holland, necklace sent to China, Socks to Japan - everything has been magic, made in Australia, has a special story very good prices, excellent quick shipping, special gift wrapping - now I order for mum for mothers day a shower cap and garden gloves perfect it is my go to place for all gifts - please order you will love it

A lovely shop with affordable and highly original gifts. Very different from most of the Australian gift shops I have used before.

I didn't know this shop existed until I was searching for a particular item featuring Australian wildlife. Having visited the shop, if you are looking for Aussie related gifts, memorabilia, jewelry, etc, this would be highly recommended. Note this is not your average cheap-and-cheerful tourist shop.it sells great quality products that would appeal to Aussies as much as tourists.

This is a very special shop with many beautiful things, all made in Australia! I purchased a gorgeous flat bear koala for a little baby girl and it was just the perfect gift! I will be back for sure!

Great shop for authentic aboriginal art. Went in for a wedding gift and left satisfied with our selection and heaps of other gifts.

“ Australia” to me and that were Australian made which was very important to me too. The range and quality was excellent and the prices were fair (so you can find something to suit any budget I’m sure). The items I ordered needed gift wrapping and delivery and that was easy to request too. So far I’m very impressed by Bits of Australia” and I’m sure I’ll use them again.

I love this shop and my overseas relatives really appreciate getting truly Australian goods. I also treat myself. Micaela is so nice and helpful. It’s worth the long convoluted drive from Brighton Le Sands to Balmain.

Love Bits of Australia products. The quality is exceptional and always has a personal touch. My go to every year are the cards, gift bags, wrapping paper and occasional Christmas decoration.

I love this site! I have only just found it & have already seen so many things I want. I live 5 hours north of Sydney & there is little to choose from here. I bought my 42 year old daughter a pair of socks, gift wrapped & tagged; they arrived within 36 hours! Unheard of these days. There is a great range of items using beautiful Aboriginal art work & themes, from gorgeous tea towels to soaps & creams. I’m now waiting for the order I made yesterday.plus that complementary Aussie fave: a Tim Tam!

Wonderful shop. I bought a couple of items for my Mum's birthday. Customer service was excellent. Postage was very quick. My mum loved her presents: blue wren scarf and magpie/cockatoo cosmetic bag.
