I have had consistent positive experiences buying from this store. Having gotten to know the staff, particularly Jason, over time has helped me to seek them out when I've needed assistance and they have always been helpful. Prices are good. Range is good. I'll return.

Went in-store and wasn't approached by anyone until I was about to leave. I knew what I wanted and research the prices. I knew i had seen a product sell for $449 on Amazon with free postage. They were selling same item for $500 and would only come down to $486. You could have had a easy sale but choose not to. Good guys were extra $100 on top and also didn't want a sale. Don't retailer know that if you don't do a deal customers just go online and they lose jobs. I'll wait until it's on special again and buy somewhere else.

The negotiation is now very limited as it now bases everything from online. Sad it's a great store but now it's very much just another Harvey Norman. Just to copy them needs much more range. Still a top store but just like many other places now.

Purchased a JBL speaker whilst on holidays down in NSW. Upon returning home, speaker began to stop working efficiently (on/off button wouldn’t work etc). Contacted Bing lee as it was still under warranty, we were advised that as per JBL, we wouldn’t need to return the faulty system (due to Covid and living in another state) and that a new one would be issued to us. All we had to do was provide them with the warranty number for JBL and my dad would just need to provide ID to pick it up on our behalf to avoid shipping. Once my dad arrived there, he was told that this wasn’t possible as they only had an upgraded version. We did not request for an upgrade, we just wanted a working speaker that we had already paid a certain amount for. They also advised that now they would need to receive the broken device before they would give us a new one. They advised my dad that if we paid shipping to return the faulty one, they would provide us with the upgraded version which will be shipped expressed back to us (their offer, not our request!). We immediately shipped ours down (was received by them on the 18th of January). Over a month later and we are still awaiting our device. We have not been provided any shipping details or information other than it was sent on the 10th of February (so took them 23 days to even ship ours). Which means we should have received it by now. Very frustrating process, communication has been astoundingly poor - no phone calls have been returned as advised by their team members - just a quick way to get you off the phone and not have to deal with you. I said to the manager during my call today that I have been following this up with numerous phone calls for a week and a half now and she stated that the first call was received on Wednesday this week. That is false. Once I advised that I have a call log here and receipts for everything, the manager Kylie was quick to back track on her comments. I made a point that this process began in December, the return was received in mid January and we are still waiting. This is not acceptable for what’s supposed to be a large and reputable company. Definitely won’t be getting any business from any of our family or friends down their again. I hope anyone reading this thinks twice about purchasing from them.

The staff at Bing Lee Thornton are so friendly and helpful.
One staff member went above and beyond to help me out.
Bought a 55 inch TV. It is good quality for money.

Took back a 2 month old Bluetooth key board.
No refund, no swap.
Had to buy a new Logitech and contact Logitech myself to have them handle warranty.
That's Australia consumer law.
Faulty products especially that new should be replaced.
The young lady serving was fantastic.
The Manager just wanted sales I guess.
Now my yr 12 child finishing an assignment for tomorrow was upset. I had to buy one due to it may take up to 2 weeks for Logitech to decide if their faulty merchandise is their problem.
Bing Lee Thornton is happy selling you new things. Don't want to know you when it stops working.
THUMBS DOWN BIG TIME.

Have purchased a number of appliances and tech items over the past few years. I've always found staff to be helpful and knowledgeable. Pricing is competitive. Items I've purchased have been cheaper or the same price as other retailers.

Very friendly and helpful service, went to a lot of trouble to track down the monitor I was after (new in box) and let me attach my laptop to the demo monitor to confirm it could drive it at full resolution.

Store clean and complying with recent Covid19 restrictions. I picked up a click and collect order no problem. I was still able to get lovely service and advice about the watch I purchased, from a nice male shop assistant who helped me select a phone holder for my car.

I found out of the major stores, BingLee was the only one who had stock of the watch i was looking for, and at competitive price

Staff stand around in a group talking. Not very talkative staff. Expensive stuff 32" $400 but at the good guys it's 32" $300 and 40" $400. Somewhat overpriced here.

Big variety of most products but a rather sad selection of refrigerators. Staff friendly, shop clean and plenty of parking. Can be a little confusing to find the entrance if coming off the highway. Needs better signage to help the new people to the area or tourists.

Have shopped here a couple of times, prices always seem to be pretty good, purchased frypan when got home found power cord controller defective, returned frypan complete back to store where it was swapped out with another new frypan, no worries at all nothing was a problem. Staff were excellent, nice to receive some good old customer service. Well done Bing Lee.

Just wanted to say the service I received at the Thornton store from Kylie and Naomi was oustanding I work in retail and it was a pleasure to see the great service they provided they went above and beyond to help me with an extended warranty return and price match can highly recommend the store it was a friendly comfortable transaction would give them 10 stars out of five well done ladies.

They'll happily take your cash, but when it comes to getting a refund, they'll dick you around for two hours and refuse to give a cash refund.

And that's not to mention getting your address wrong after repeatedly telling them the correct address. Hopeless!
