Bing Lee Thornton

Went in to get a quote on an 85cm TV sound bar. The guy said he would send different quotes that day 4 days later, but still nothing.

I purchased a new Miele vacuum and two sets of vacuum bags (one for me and one for my SIL) and was told that the second set of the bags that weren’t in store would be ready for collection the following Monday. I ordered and paid on 25/11/23 and have called and visited the store multiple times to collect the bags and told each time that they needed to be ordered (I was guarantee each time that they were doing that right away). It is now 21/1/24 and I still do not have the bags and they still have not been ordered. The closest store is an hour away and when I asked if there are other bags that fit, they only offer bags that are significantly more expensive than the bags I have “purchased” and I am expected to pay the difference when it is not the original product I required. I’m so disappointed as I purchased a new Miele vacuum cleaner in the same transaction and I am unable to use it because I am out of bags. Please don’t purchase anything through Bing Lee unless they have the actual stock in store to take home that day.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, though shop is small and has limited stock & staff. Bought floor stock to save me fuel driving back again, but the lady was so nice packing them up for me. Plenty of parking and easy to find, close to other shops and toilets etc

Everybody loves you when you turn up to buy something but if you need assistance after you've paid not so great Shame

Had a set headphones that wouldn't charge up. Returned them. No fuss. Replaced straight away. Great business to deal with.

Wonderful customer service and technical support from Liam and Jason.
We had issues with our headset connecting to new smart TVs, Liam was extremely helpful with finding a solution with Jason’s help.

Went in to buy a tv and was served by Big Dave. What a pleasant surprise to be served by someone who knew exactly what we were looking for and explained everything about the tv. We left the store very happy with the service that we got, will be shopping there again for sure.

Helpful and friendly service. Able to find what we needed. Received information that we needed, plus were able to return a product that didn't work for us, product was ok, just not for us.

Normally enjoy coming here but got sold the wrong product and wasted quite a bit of money, need someone with an understanding of technology on the floor

I highly recommend Kylie and her team at Bing Lee, Thornton. I had to return an oven I purchased because it didn't fit in the space provided and Kylie was so helpful and accommodating, both on the phone and in person. I was able to attain a refund and purchased another oven through her on the spot and it was delivered in two days. Thank you, Kylie for your amazing service and kindness.

Never got what we ordered and had to settle for something else as they do NOT offer refunds

I have never meant a more rude abrupt Store Manager Kylie who works their.
The way she spoke to myself and other customers is absolutely appalling.
If you need help or assistance with a product you bought and need a solution she will down right push you out the door accusing you of the fault.

Updating because we've made a few purchases here this year, and Bing Lee Thornton staff are always friendly, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with. The truth is that low prices bring me here, but the people make it a top experience.

Very polite staff. Questions you have are answered well. Only thing about this store that is a bit irritating is that not alot of things are in stock. We spent a while trying to find a tablet. And when we wanted a refund for a broken computer keyboard they couldn't do it. We had to email the company that makes them. Not the employees fault though. Stocks are going to be limited due to the pandemic so I understand. Worth having a look.

Absolutely the rudest staff I've ever had to deal with for a purchase. 10 out of 10 for the most condescending experience

Better prices by far than other appliance stores and wonderful customer service, I won't be going anywhere else from now on.

Ignorant staff, just let you pace around for 15 minutes. Eventually, a super unenthusiastic Jason shuffles over (no he hadn't been with a customer) and says "You right? " in his most apathetic voice.

Then they charged me more (yep a second transaction) after buying something and that transaction clearing at ticketed price. Because "Oh no it's not meant to be that price, it finished yesterday (but still in the online catalogue at reduced price) ". Who does that?

Was also there to pick up something I ordered more than a week ago and when I come to pick it up its "Next Thursday, Next Tuesday, Next Thursday".

Don't worry, I wont be back.

Very helpful staff. The problem I had was sorted very quickly & I was able to pick up my order.
