Thank you Belle Property for your professionalism throughout my tenancy! Taking care of both the tenant and the property owner is not always an easy job and I really appreciate your efforts over the last year.

Finally a property manager with great attention to detail who really does care about how tenants are looking after your rental property. Yes they are thorough during a final inspection and they do check bathrooms for mould in the shower and they look for cobwebs on the eaves but that is what I pay them to do. I only wish I could export them to Surfers Paradise to look after our property there.

I am not the type of person that normally writes reviews, especially negative ones, but I really feel that I need to warn people about this agent. For the last 18 months we have been subjected to the most unreasonable treatment from Belle Property, which was made worse by the owners who left our house unsafe for months at a time. Belle Property allowed the owner to make repairs to our house that he was not qualified to perform. As a result we have had to live with a staircase that our young children could have fallen down, improper light and fans in our showers that explode above our heads, no fire alarm as they would not come and service it after we complained it was going off every night at 3 am, and many other repairs that were not seen to. In addition, Belle Property are exceptionally unrealistic in their expectations of tenants. They do not accept the Government guide to Fair Wear and Tear and use bullying tactics with your bond to influence their tenants to spend huge amounts of time and money to meet these. As an example, the outgoing inspection noted "cobwebs outside on the eaves of the roof". I really feel sorry for the next tenants of this property, and for anyone that is fooled into renting through this agency. I have never had issues before, I have paid a premium rent above and beyond the market rate ($2000 per week) and even now after we have moved out I continue to be threatened and harassed by these people. Renter beware.
