Beachcomber Holiday Park

Park Managers Gary and Letitia provide excellent customer service and advice from fishing to surfing spots, nice walks and information on the wildlife. We rented a cabin and it was clean, airy and had amazing views. We used the chimnea every night when the temperature dropped and watched the sun set with a glass of wine. Absolutely stunning.

The wildlife here is amazing! Emus, goanna, kangaroo, bandicoot, possums, snakes and all manner of birds.

We had a cabin. Such a peaceful place. Very clean, but the best thing is the location. Just a short walk from the beach which is spectacular. Loved it!

Second time staying, loved it again. Beautiful location, good amenities, great wildlife spottings.

Lovely place to spend a few nights. Great, clean amenities and nice beach. Lots of kangaroos and kangaroo poo. The access was very boggy due to recent rainfall.

Great campground! The staff were super friendly and accommodating with our large truck and vehicles with short notice. Ammenities were spotless clean the whole week. Fire pits are great.

We couldn’t get the site for the last night so checked into a cabin which was also great. The only negative we could find was it may be slightly expensive for an unpowered site - the cabin was only a bit more than our two sites. BUT they’re off grid and in a priceless location. Highly recommended. Thanks!

Great camping, friendly animals, excellent facilities and even some nice waves - amazing spot for a weekend away and a perfect snapshot of Aus.

Called to make a booking for Christmas camping in early November. I told the staff that I want to book from 25/12 to 28/12 and she said no problem they had plenty of sites left. Finally paid $147 for 3 nights of powered sites. She said see you in Christmas and ended the call.
Got an email on 30/11 asking my recent experience of the camping, had bad feelings and went through the emails. Found out the staff made a mistake and booked in for 25/11 to 28/11.
Called in again and this time another staff was on duty. She said we will make things right and checked that there will be an empty site from 25/12 to 27/12 for 2 nights and asked me if I want to take it. I said yes I will still go. She said the final price was $110 for 2 nights of unpowered site but she refused to refund the difference to me. She said the difference can be used as a credit and buy things like firewood, sunscreens or whatever when I get there but I don’t actually need them. Why can’t they just refund the difference as it was not my fault that they messed up in the first place? It’s ridiculous.

Everything is great.

Very impressive. The cabins are excellent. They are well maintained & have everything you need. The view from the balcony is wonderful. And they're completely off-the-grid. All electricity is from solar & all water is bore water. Highly recommended.

Quite possibly one of the most enjoyable parks I have stayed at. Right on the beach, like literally right on the beach. A great community of of visitors and a wildlife rich area.

The kangaroos are plentiful and you won't be surprised to see them pretty much sitting outside your front step just hanging out.

This is a non powered facility so make sure those batteries are topped up and the solar panel is ready. Fill up your water tanks before hand too. We met some great people on our stay here and there kids were so friendly with ours.

We hope to get back one day.

Beautiful place. Very eco friendly. Plenty of wildlife around - emus, wallabies, possums, bilbies and more. And right on the beach!

Amazing staff and accommodations. Right next to the beach. Great for a family getaway. Wallabies and kangaroos everywhere. Kids love it.

The bathrooms are clean, the wildlife is well cared for, the campsites are clean and the firepits are well maintained and follow the new fire rules. The beach is lovely and the forest and lagoon are also amazing. Great place to ride and to learn to ride.

Rented a Hillside cabin which was cosy and comfortable. Great attention to little extras
and the view is fabulous. Hot hot showers. There is a chimera and little bbq on the huge deck. Lots of active things to do. Place is eco friendly with heaps of solar panels.
Only downside is poor free WiFi.
Pizza oven in camp kitchen with bases to order. BYO ingredients.

Beautiful setting. Lge camp sites unpowered and powered (6amps max). Fire pits with dry firewood available. Large and clean amenities block. National Park surrounds with heaps of kangaroos happily sharing the campground and the occassional emu. Excellent beach frontage and surf, also walks through the spotted gum forest and via the beach to Tuross River mouth. Surprised at the cost but after staying for a week, 7days for 5 think it very good value.

Beautiful one day perfect the next. Rob and Robyn are just the greatest. Park amenities are always clean. No complains from us.

Lots of kangaroos, wallabys and emus roaming the prpperty. A great pizza oven. Good cabins with indoor and outdoor heating.
