Bay & Basin Leisure Centre

I go to this place mostly for the gym. The staff that work in the area are polite and happy to help you if you need a little assistance. Everything has a good routine of being clean, there are signs with indicators on how to use the machines, what area if muscle they work, and have wipes near by to clean them up after your use to keep it clean for everyone. You are able to buy food here with good prices. The pools are kept neat with a good system. There are plenty of space in the change rooms and many stalls, some with showers. Everything is set up very well and organised.

The centre includes a lap pool, leisure pool and spa. The facilities have been maintained in good condition. The staff are attentive and friendly. The indoor pools are warm, and the spa is maintained at a good temperature.

The pool area was reasonably quiet on a Friday evening.

Plenty of on site parking available.

Gym is decent and staff are great. But if you’re looking for zero-gym-etiquette clowns who hog 3 to 4 gym machines at one time, this is the place

If you are not a member you cant join any class. They are always full and no place, so I will not try again. This place is just a big disappointment.

This gym is very very subpar.
No real squat rack, not enough standing room, most of the cushions are cracked and falling apart, its so small some equipment is littered near the toilets (imagine doing a workout near a toilet door!) The cooling system barley works, no room to deadlift, prices are stupidly high for what it is, some of the equipment is quite nifty but your standing right over the top of somone else.this gym leave alot to desire.
If you want a gym that limits your time on a treadmill.this is your gym. With its high prices you would think they would have upgraded with all that free room by now.

I love going to this centre. You always get a warm welcome and help if you need it. I couldn't recommend it more highly

I have 3 1/2 year-old twins boy and a girl we have lessons at 11: 45 every Thursday.our twins have had three lessons so far and they are going to leave some bounds our instructor is a lady called Sam. She is so fantastic with the children. I can’t give her enough credit. She makes everything fun and enjoyable and there’s also another lady in the pool. She is fantastic as well. I’m sorry I don’t know her name but I can’t give Sam enough credit for how she treats our kids. And she treats them with love and respect. Thank you very much Sam you are a fantastic instructor thank you

Great centre, very clean. Particularly great for younger children.
23 April 22. As above but we're still being very careful because of Covid so leave if too crowded but not too bad when there today.
12 April 23 great centre. A little more supervision needed on water slide. It only takes one or two to put younger children in danger. Family change rooms a hygiene risk today.

This great small swimming centre the friendly staff ample parking and reasonably priced. Great place to go and do your lapse

My 5 year old son was treaded unfairly by the staff. An older child was aggressive towards my son and the teenager supervising the children decided to cancel my son and the other boys access to the slide. When I approached the attendant to get an explanation, she said she can cancel as she pleases. She ruined my son's day. He was looking forward to going there for the second time for days, literally each day he would ask me to take him there. The first thing she should of done was consult with the family and her seniors before implementing this heavy handed rule. Absolutely no customer service skills what's so ever! Who ever is considering taking your children here be warned, the employees have no customer service skills and they Absolutely don't know how to handle children.

This is a great centre for the entire family. My son loves going between the two kid pools. You're always able to get a lane to do some laps.
The sprinklers in the kids pool do need to be fixed (assuming they previously worked) and there are certain staff that aren't very friendly.
We did show up on Saturday at 9: 30am as it showed 8am open online. It has been corrected to 10am now.

Fantastic indoor heated pools, Beach entry on one side & steps on another. Water slide on weekends & school holidays. Perfect place for all ages & abilities. The on-site Cafe has a wide range of food & drink options too.

My daughter and I went to this pool for a swim meeting.
The place was lovely and clean, ladies behind the desk were happy and smiling.
The life guard on the day was so nice and I swear smiled all day!

I haven't been very lucky with a positive experience there. From the day we relocated we were advised that this centre was excellent. The facilities are clean and the pool is big with lots of space but the teachers were not very friendly nor was the reception staff.

Super friendly staff, very caring and supportive. The centre is a community hub. Lots going on with swimming lessons, gym classes and training sessions. Plenty more to be discovered inside! Check it out

Amazing place, first time going here, as it was not built prior to me leaving the state over 20yrs ago. Staff were all very friendly and great at their jobs. Facilities were awesome. The indoor slide and kids play pool are next level, my nephew and 2 neices had an amazing time on them all and the bigger pool is just right. I will be back there again for sure.

My first time at the pool it was awesome and the staff couldn't be more helpful very helpful and caring staff thank you

Took our 7yo grandson and spent over 4 hours at the Bay & Basin Pool & Leisure Centre, Vincentia. Good sized amenities although the pools were a bit too heated (you could have been in a warm bath with the shallow pool!). The takeaway food left alot to be desired and being prepared in a small badly laid out kitchen area easily viewed by the customer. The coffee was awful, they need a good Barista for sure.
Reception staff were lovely.
