Bathurst Visitor Information Centre reviews
40I arrived after a bus load of people rolled in. I thought I'd be here for such a long time but the service was awesome. Very quick. Food was lovely. Will be back
Friendly helpful staff gave us a good grounding on things that interest us in the Bathurst area well worth the stop over
Great visitor information Centre. Friendly staff and lots of material available for the surrounding areas etc. Managed to get my Aussie tourist passport stamped too.
Came here to use the EV chargers. Free toilets but they close at 5pm. Cafe next door closes at 2pm. Good spot for a rest break
Plenty of information on the local area both modern and historical. Will look into staying a bit longer next time.
Harvest Cafe has woefully slow service and rip-off prices.
$10 for a frozen GF pie - chose to takeaway - had to wait 15 mins before it was 'served'.
Will never go there again.
Staffed mainly by volunteers this info centre has so much info and staff are so friendly. We learned so much from them about the whole area thanks for your help
Great place to stop for a break. Friendly service, clean toilets and a cafe a few steps away and plenty of phamphlets of the local area and surrounding areas. Small gift shop
Has a lot on offer, local goods for sale and plenty of information available to help yourself to. The staff on duty when we entered did not try and engage once, not even as much as a hello. They were too busy having personal conversations amongst themselves, very poor reception for visitors coming through.
To the mechanics of Bathurst, thanks for nothing. No one would do the job. Not like we weren't going to pay.
Great place to stop if on a long trip. Clean bathrooms, good cafe, electric charging, lots of parking and a large park to stretch your legs or this of your pet
Clean loo that's a plus in my books and good information were to go and what to do but the stuff in there 4 sale is way way to much 4 what it is you can go to markets and get things cheaper so they need to drop prices to move the stock
Ok, but not a great cafe. Ordered Tea for 2, but only got 1 cup, 1 sugar, 1 spoon.
Asked again, no response.
$13.90 for an old sausage roll a bit expensive. $8 toasted sandwich.
Very poor service, long waits for anything.
Youngish, possibly inexperienced staff.
Good menu at the cafe and food great. EV charging close by so great rest stop for those charging.
Carl from the visitor centre went above and beyond today! I had a Ticketek inquiry which I needed answering prior to my adult kids making their way up the mountain to camp at the big race. Ticketek aren't answering their phones, only email enquiries but when I sent off my enquiry an automatic reply bounced back saying that we're very busy with cancellations and I might not get my reply before the event. So I rang the visitor centre. Carl didn't know the answer to my question but he so nicely went out of his way and ran to the ticketek booth and asked for me! You're a legend Carl. Thanks a zillion!
Great parking for towing vehicles. Helpful and enthusiastic customer service. Huge range of items to buy.
Modern, spacious and warm (when cold outside).
Not much parking, there is a coffee shop next door as a result car park often full. Toilets clean, good disable toilet. Wheelchair accessible. Staff in visitor center lovely and polite.
We had an issue with the 'quality' of the Chifley tour, sent an email, which drew a thoughtful and objective response. A great and appreciated reaction.
The portable toilets are FERRAL, to the point my kids blunt-refused to use them.other than that, lovely spot to stop for a stretch and rest
