Balance Mayfield is an interesting excellent gym, catering for men and women of all ages and abilities. Friendly staff, clean, well-fitted out, a great place to keep fit!

Free with Gateway Inn hotel stay. Need to swim with a swimming cap, you can borrow theirs. Unisex shower: the shower pressure is not as strong as the hotel. The door can be clunky to unlock. No leisure swimming; swim on each lane. People in the gym can see through the glass to the pool. Powerful chlorine smell.
Most people just put their belongings on the bench.

The times I’ve been it’s been relatively quiet. It’s expensive. I didn’t like being thrown into the deep end when I signed up for the 7 day trial. Not one person showed me around and showed me how to use the equipment. Lucky for me I have some idea of how the equipment should be operated but for someone who has never been to a gym before this could be one big OHS problem. No wonder so many people join Planet Fitness. Now Eurth.

We have started swimming lessons at Balance recently and we are really happy with our experience. We have been dealing with Mikala at reception - so friendly and nothing is a problem. The group classes are reasonably priced and they offer privates as well. Saxon is our swim instructor and he excellent. He is engaging and it appears as though he genuinely enjoys teaching children!

Staff are very friendly and welcoming. We do swimming lessons here and McKenzie is a fantastic swimming teacher. Great facility, clean and tidy.

We take the kids to swimming lessons here, can't fault the service and the swimming trainers are amazing with the boys

Excellent facitilities and all instructors are so inspirational and all exercises are varied, never repetitious - always feel great and invigorated after classes, even though a little exhausted!

Half of their gym equipment has 'out of order' signs on them, found myself waiting a number of times for the bikes.and its been like that for some time unfortunately.considering they've charging more now for their subscriptions its a bit annoying!

I did my Austswim course here in their pools. The facilities are immaculate and the staff are amazing.

So impressed with swimming lessons for my 3.5 yr old. Such a great Enthusiastic and Encouraging teacher and the facilities are great. Highly recommend

This is by far the best gym! Lots of new equipment and space. Love it! Only thing they need is more fans or air conditioning in the weight lifting area and more benches.

The swimming teachers for the children's swim lessons are excellent. They really know their stuff and know how to motivate the kids

The staff are really good. Pity the company have decided to go with fascism and support segregation in our country even though the current covid outbreak is being spread by thosevaccinated. Good business model for going out of business.

Convenient in all respects e.g. Parking, coffee shop, off street green surrounds, good change rooms n showers. Clean n well maintained. Classes are solid n well facilitated e.g. Spin etc.

Nice modern gym with heaps of room, plenty of machines to use, and big indoor heated pools. Staff are always friendly and helpful, and swim teachers are both knowledgeable and great with kids. Well priced classes with lots of availability. Overall it's a great experience, no complaints at all.

Really great place! Highly recommend. Staff are phenomenal and super friendly. Gym equipment is good and weights are always re-racked.

Equipment old, pin loaded gear is good, but free weight bars & plates in bad condition.

Ski ergs & rowers not cleaned or maintained at all.

Pretty good gym, and atm its $30 per month due to covid restrictions which is really good value
