Australian Country Music Hall of Fame reviews
40The displays where very good. Very disappointing there is no list of hall of fame inductees in the hall of fame. Thought there should be a list and a history of each of the great artists we have.
A wonderful experience of Australian country music and the people who made it and the culture of Australians.
You are in Tamworth, you have to go.
Only $10, $7 concession.
I'm not a country fan though
A very informative and relaxing insight to our history and evolution of our country music. A must see when visiting Tamworth
This is an important record of our Australian country music. Great display and information.
I’m not really into country music, but the small museum takes you through the history of Australian country music through the decades. With lots of exhibits (think cowboy hats, boots and guitars) there is a wealth of music history in this small museum.
Very interesting experience and well priced for what you see. Lovely lady greeted us and explained the best way to view the displays.
I am not a country western fan, however my hubby is. I found this place is worth its entry fee love the videos of information on our home grown Aussie stars.
I am not a huge country music fan, but with a day off from a long road trip, took the opportunity to visit. I was pleasantly surprised! The facility is very well laid out and gives an insight not just in to country music, but a part of Australia's history. There are photos, stories videos and much memorabilia of instruments and outfits. Well done to the curators. If I was a CM fan, I would have given 5 stars.
Definitely worth a visit. Well put together, a walk through Australian country music history.
I'm not necessarily a country music fan, but it was just enough for me to enjoy it, and learn about the history of country music in Australia. A cheap admission price makes it well worthwhile when you're in Tamworth.
Very well setout, in chronological order of the establishment of country music in Australia.
Very much worth the $7.50 per adult entry, as we were there for about 2 hours.
So Informative and loved the televised information plus wall narrative. Must see if you like country music!
Definitely worth a visit if you are in town! Lady on reception was very friendly and helpful too.
What a gem. A fabulous look into the evolution of country music in Australia. A great selection of memorabilia… and stories throughout the decades …. An absolute treat that had you wanting to head home to
put on your LP’s and scoot around the dance /lounge room floor!
Would also add the staff member was full of knowledge of the place and also in the area. 5 stars to her. We had a great time.
Very informative if you like history and Country music. I learnt a great deal by watching the various presentations.
Definitely worth visiting. Plenty of interesting stories and exhibits from the origins of Australian Country Music.
Excellent showcase. More in here than you would think, with videos about all the eras etc. Also right next to the big4 paradise park.
Bit disappointed with some of the photos there, expected the golden guitar right beside it, but it's situated elsewhere which destroys it being away from the rest in my opinion
