Auburn Aquarium and Terrarium

Phenomenal store, absolutely the only store around that comes close to the magnificence of the fabled St George aquarium.

Huge range of fresh water tropical fish particular any kind of tetra or rainbow fish you want. Beautiful fresh water set up in store. There used to be a parrot up the back of the store who was very cute. Now there's budgies and cockatiels.

Parking outside the shop, they share a foyer with Domayne. Staff are helpful, particularly Sam the man! Full of fish knowledge and gave us great advice on compatible tank mates. I love how they're the only people in five aquariums I know that stock emperor tetras. Oh and they stock a range of shrimps as well for those aquascape enthusiasts. Thanks Sam we'll visit again soon

Lots of tanks and interesting set ups, plenty of saltwater livestock and corals, okay amount of fresh water.very few shrimp though, which is what i was after today.was not acknowledged by any of the staff, even after greeting them.a few other male customers came in and were seen to straight away.maybe i dont dress like i want to spend money? Unsure why i was ignored.i hope to come back one day

We were there yesterday! What a joke. When we got in there everything looks amazing. We were so impressed with the size and just overall look but unfortunately that is where it ends. We went there because we wanted to buy a blue tang. We were there first looking for someone to help us. Nobody come, nobody even greeted us. We knew exactly what we wanted but nobody offered to help us. The staff there is useless we just left. We then went to West Ryde Aquarium that is a bit smaller but only 6km away and received amazing service from staff that actually enjoy there job. Never again will I come to this shop.

Some staff are helpful and I like the happy fish. Unfortunately some staff eat smeeeeelly food. Stinks like a dumpster when they open it up in the shop. They need to eat it in the bathroom or away from the shop at least. Horrible phew, poor fish

Good selection of products and fish!
However, within a week all 4 newly purchased goldfish started to show signs of illnesses from external to internal parasites, fin rot and itch.it is a race against the time trying to save them and more they infected the original goldfish what we already had for 5 months. I wish that they would tell me in the store that I need to quarantine them.and also that all 4 goldfish what we have purchased were sick.
It is not about the money, but to see the living poor creatures struggling and fighting for every day is very sad sight, more also we have kids, who do not take dying fish lightly ️. Well, I am definitely no more your customer.and hope that this review helps others to consider, whether to buy the fish here or somewhere else.

The staff members were friendly and it has a variety of kind of fishes also it has every equipment to start your first aquarium.
Equipment over there sells with good price but the fishes a little bit pricey but still a good place to visit.

Good advice.all sorts of fish - tropical/salt water/fresh water. These guys tested my tank's water and gave me some good suggestions.
I've been to this shop more than 10 times, always good service.we shopped around, these guys have good pricing on tanks.they also have birds and pet spiders too
