I’ve now had 5 Mazdas over the past 10 years and most of which have been serviced at Artarmon Mazda. They are diligent and responsive. I recently brought my car in for service and chose to wait. I mentioned that I needed to be out in an expedited fashion and despite being busy the Mazda employee was able to turn around my car for a service in under 2 hours. I will be coming back here due to this for years in the future. Ohh and also that the cars themselves are totally reliable. Which is also a pleasure.

Staffs are really nice and understanding.
At the waiting area, They have good space to work, decent wifi, clean toilet and coffee! So it wouldn’t be difficult to work remotely while having the car serviced.

Mazda Artarmon seems to like using con artist tactics to deceive their customers and rip money off them.

I have been taking my car to them for service for the past 5 years. I barely use my car but still have always been happy to pay their exorbitant prices for servicing, as I thought using the original manufacturer would mean better service.

On Monday the 7th of June, I brought my car for service. When I got the car back, I noticed that every time I open and close the trunk I hear a noise from the door as if a screw or bolt is loose in there. I contacted them on Monday the 28th of June to report it and get them to check it, and was told that they could check it but if it was something that was not caused during the service I might be charged. They booked me in for today, the 2nd of July, at 10 AM. As soon as I arrived, I was told I would have to pay $165 to get it checked, which was different from what I had been originally told on the phone. Not finding it fair, I asked to speak to the manager, who insisted that it was not caused by them and that I would have to pay the $165. No one else touched the car, I wouldn't be able to cause any problems inside the trunk door since I don't even have a clue how to access that.

Unfortunately they have proven to be unprofessional. I don't think waiving $165 dollars from someone who's given you thousands of dollars already is a lot to ask for.

Went in for a pink slip and made them aware I needed hand brake tightened to pass safety check. Was quoted $160 for hand brake and $42 for safety check. Said go ahead. Was contacted before work was carried out and told the hand brake was $185 and I was misquoted. After many similar excessive over priced miss quotes over the year from Mazda Artarmon I decided to box it up and take my work else where. On pick up the rude worker refused my key until I paid the $42 failed pink slip. I informed him the only reason I did not proceed was the miss quote. He was rude and I had to pay for the safety check with no work carried out. I will not return to Mazda Artarmon and warn of their devious and unprofessional conduct that I have experienced over the years. The tactics they use to milk $40 here $20 there are diabolical. Once you car is out of warranty take your car to an actual mechanic and don’t give your money to these crooks.

Also in reply to your reply to this review you missed the point of why I’m making this review. I brought it to your attention the hand brake was insufficient to pass rego not the other way around and I consented to $160 for the hand brake repair as quoted. Not $185 this is the crook part I’m referring to. I am not reviewing that the tyre is under spec that is understandable. It’s the lies about pricing and then charging me for the e safety check regardless. I know even if a car fails inspection you would still charge a fee. Your missing the point of my frustration. You changed the pricing after I dropped in my car and then made me pay to take my car back. I would have paid the $185 if that’s what I was originally quoted got the tyre done and left with a passed e safety check if you did not change the quoted price after you took possession of my car.
Your misleading reply suggests I knew nothing of the issues or was angry because of them. Incorrect. I brought the issues to your dealership and consented to the work to be done. Your employee called me and upped the price over the phone. That is why I halted the work.
As for previous quotes to name a few $800 for a battery $200 for wiper blades. Got the same battery at Battery world for $320

To finish I had the work carried out several doors down from Mazda. The tyres were all within spec and passed. I was told at the rate of wear I would get to my next yearly service. So I said how about you just go ahead and stick 4 new ones on it now for the honesty which they did. They also repaired my handbrake for free whilst the wheels were off it, did my esafety check for free and a free wheel alignment. Nice!

Professional and polite staff and on time services, plus they will offer a free ride to train station and back if you ask them.

Staff were fantastic at the Service Centre, very professional and friendly.

Great setup to work while waiting for the car with tea, coffee, WiFi and a lounge area all readily available. Plenty of power points and USB ports to charge devices too.

So friendly and helpful and loved the shuttle bus to the station to get to work and picking me up to collect my car. So impressed! Mazda really knows how to DO service:)

The post service customer service was 2nd to none. The service adviser helping me stayed back and went out of his way to help me workout a feature on my car.

Terrible service and received a $116 parking fine due to the staff not moving my car off the street as promised. I was advised to park my car on the street and leave the keys in an envelope under one of the side doors due to my work hours. I parked at 0600 right in front of the main office, you couldn't park in the area from 0730 onwards but was told my car would be moved into the compound at 0730. Got a call at 0800 to say couldn't find my keys and they had watched my car get a parking fine and done nothing about it. They then called back to tell me they had found my keys and I put them under the wrong door. No one thought to ring me at 0730 when they couldn't find my keys or even stop the parking attendant from fining my car. I asked if mazda could contribute half the ticket to the service fee. Nope. It was absolutelys Artarmon Mazda's fault I got this fine and they wouldn't even contribute half let alone the full price. Their was no signange for what door to put the key under there was multiple doors and this is the only mazda where their is no key drop box! Big security risk for customers! Super disappointed in the service as it used to be great staff 2 years ago. Will not be coming back here again!

Customers beware! Took my car for a service and I had a full size rim spare wheel and toolkit in the boot. When I got home it had been replaced with a space saver temporary wheel and no tool kit. The manager was unwilling to listen and refused to investigate. I was made to feel like I was a liar. Honestly can’t be sure that the service paid for was even performed.

It can and it did fit, rim facing up. A simple
internet search will also reveal that it can fit. I bought the shop demo car and the full wheel & rim was included. Nowhere during the conversation did you mention I could come in and look for the toolkit (also as customer not my responsibility to go looking for missing items in a garage that was supposed to take care of my car). This was the most expensive service I have ever had. Not impressed.

Bought a used Mazda CX9 from Artarmon Mazda
Jeremy was very friendly and made the whole process super easy.
Noticed that one of the floor mats was missing after picking up the car and then when I called Jeremy, he quickly arranged for providing a replacement carpet.
Will buy my next Mazda from these guys for sure:)

A service centre at the top of their game. From checking my vehicle in where they ran through what the service included to pick up where a full report was provided. A pleasant surprise was the price was as quoted when the booking was made.

I am so impressed by the professional level of Ian Freeman. The way he helped and communicated stands out of what I saw before in Artarmon Mazda and anywhere else. I wasn't expecting much also because of other reviews I see here, but my today's experience was perfect. I was getting my regular service today and Ian was available straight away with all my documents ready. He explained me everything clearly, suggested additional options without any sales pressure. He showed me around, gave my the wifi password and got my waiting area cleaned without any questions. I will have to come back again when my mirrors parts are received and I hope to see Ian again as my advisor. Thanks!

Staff all to happy to smoke outside of the Artarmon Shops at 3pm on a Friday. Don't worry about people dining at the burger joint or school kids walking past.

I didn’t buy a car from them so I usually have a service where I bought but one day my car had a problem. I was nervous while driving because the check engine light was on so I didn’t know if it was dangerous or not. I drove in seeking help at least if I couldn’t book in but someone could tell me the situation while I was just around the corner.

Chris the service reception guy who was there at the time. Treated me nicely and trying to book me in because it could be dangerous to keep driving. He is service minded person, cheerful, I really feel at ease after that. Sometimes you just know that person has a beautiful heart and so he.

Definitely, I will come for the next service!
