The chap we saw was happy to over-quote for genuine parts and good at ignoring speaker installation defects raised.

The guys at Artarmon Mazda were great, very professional and explained everything that they had done with the car.

It's a better place to service my car in compared to the previous Mazda service centre that I actually I bought my car from. I personally feel I got ripped off from the previous place that's I found out from my friend a mechanic that the oil was dirty which seem it was never changed, and they never even checked the transmission oil to consider to change it. So I feel it's a better place and better customer service

I have been servicing my cars at Marda Artamon for over 15 years - and called in today to make an appointment for the battery replacement, as roadside are not taking it as it is still intermittently working. The person who took the call (at 4.55pm today) was incredible rude and dismissive over the phone and basically told me to go to other car dealers to get the battery and that they don't have time for this. When I asked his name, he hang up on me. This is a very disappointing and frustrating experience - sounds like Mazda does not care all all for customers.

Great experience from start to finish. It was easy to book over the phone, the front staff on the day were friendly and efficient, the service itself was of a high standard and the car was ready for my scheduled pick up. I really appreciated how clean the car was compared to how I dropped it off.

Friendly staff, who remember your name.

Great servicing.
Shuttle service to Lane Cove or St Leonards.

Reasonable prices without surprises.
Costs are always given beforehand and that's exactly what we pay.

On my second Mazda now and will be servicing it here too.

I've been coming here since I bought my car at the end of 2018. I use it for work, so kms go up fast, meaning I have to service every 3 months. The first couple of years were fine and I've been coming all the way from Newcastle for the last 2 years, which is really inconvenient. Service has generally been friendly, and I appreciate the care clean. They were very apologetic when they knocked out my fuel gauge, leading me to break down.

They have me believing I need to keep coming there in order to keep warranty, but does it mean ppl who move interstate lose warranty? I should have checked properly.

Most ppl don't put their cars over 100,000km in the warranty period, but what I would say is stop going to them after 100,000km bc it will just get more overpriced. I paid around 5 grand servicing last yr and was misquoted at least 2 of those times. I really couldn't afford what I paid, and they weren't very sympathetic to that.

My last service they misquoted me by $400 which almost made me cry due to financial stress and then called me to see if I wanted to pay $120 for puncture repairs and another $120+ for wipers. I knew they were both overpriced, so I declined.
Knowing my tyres had slow leaks that weren't urgent. Driving home, there was a whirring sound. Halfway, I had to make a stop, open my boot to find they had deflated a tyre and put my temporary on. It's not meant for doing 160km up a highway. Instead of telling me they let me drive home without knowing and leaving me to lose $120+ the next day bc I had to miss work and go find someone to fix my tyre for $40 (rather than $60 per puncture @mazda).

I made 2 complaints and not even an apology. Hence, I wrote this review. May seem petty, but it really affected me further financially.
I'll check with Newcastle Mazda regarding warranty or sacrifice my last yr of warranty rather than go back there.

Very professional and honest. I went to pick my car almost at the closing time and Luis was as cheerful as if he had just started work for the day. He patiently explained everything about the service and answered all my questions in detail. Impressed!

Just back from my 30 day service check and I’m so happy with the caring service provided by the team. From booking, to turning up, and taking the vehicle away, the service was a breeze. I was particularly delighted with the attention and care that Harley paid to me and my three month old baby, making what could have been a headache of an errand as easy as possible. Thank you!

Excellent service over the past five years of using Mazda Artarmon to service my CX5. Helpful, prompt, polite. Couldn't be happier.

Legitimately the best customer service experience I have ever had.

Our car had engine problems on the way back to Canberra. It was a hot day and the aircon also broke. I had two toddlers in the car with me. I limped the car into the Artarmon Mazda service center and woke the kids up to get them inside. Steph from Mazda saw me doing this and rushed out to help. She then got the overheated and distressed kids cold water and set them up with her own Disney+ account. She came out of her office multiple times to make sure we were ok and everyone was cared for.

Steph also sorted out all the paperwork on our behalf. She kept me up to date regularly, and once the diagnostic work was done she advocated our case to Mazda to help with some of the costs. She also organised a hire car for us!

We were so lucky that Artarmon Mazda was the closest Mazda dealership and that Steph was there. She is truly a tremendous human being. Many thanks

I have been going to Artarmon Mazda for annual services for past 5 years and have had a great experience every time. Very pleased with the staff and their care for customers and vehicles. They have gone above and beyond which has been greatly appreciated - at one point even arranging covering the costs of a repair thru Mazda which would not be typically covered by warranty. Staff are always very personable. Thank you

I have been here several times so far and was impressed by the quality service from Harley one of the advisors. He was very knowledgable of what he was doing and professional. I needed urgent wheel replacement and he tried to help me out a lot. They have shuttle bus service to drop off and pick up from the artarmon station which was very convenient.

Someone mentioned below about dashcam getting unplugged. I realised they unplug my dashcam everytime i get my car serviced and no one tells me it would get unplugged. It will be nicer if customers get told about this before they drive their car away to prevent no recording on the way back home.

I own a Mazda 3 and have always serviced my car at Mazda-Artarmon. Their service has always been good but recently I had an issue with my car and it was quite impressive the way they resolved it for me.

The left side mirror of my car wasn't functioning well. Unfortunately, the warranty of my car had recently expired but then Luiz at the service centre was kind enough to speak to Mazda and get the issue fixed without me having to pay a single penny. He ensured not just the left but the right mirror too was fixed so as to ensure that doesn't create a problem later.

In fact, when I first reported the problem, Luiz had the presence of mind to take photos and that actually helped. All in all, Luis was a pleasure to deal with.

I am very happy with the service I received yesterday and believe that's what customer service stands for. Thank you Luiz and the team at Artarmon Mazda!

An update from my last review- have owned cx9 for 12 months now and overall happy. My only gripe with the car is I really regret getting the FWD. Lots of problems in rain around my local area with hills. Lose traction easily and have nearly been hit several times as other cars don’t expect me to sit still with my tyres spinning. Doesn’t seem to matter how gentle I am in the accelerator. Seems to be poor design for heavy vehicle. There are roads that are too risky fir me to take in the rain around out local suburb which is annoying.
No other complaints about the car, drives very nicely when it’s not raining!

Artarmon Mazda is blatantly OVERPRICING for spare parts, even when compared to other nearby dealers like Hornsby Mazda. For example, they asked me to pay $495 for a new battery (aftermarket, i-stop) for my Mazda3 by Artarmon Mazda. I checked prices with nearby dealer Hornsby Mazda, and they quoted $375 for exactly the same part. That is $120 EXTRA for the same part from another Mazda Dealer.
