Absolutely wonderful. My skin definitely feels so much better now. Staff friendly and professional but not much English. Be prepared to be rubbed and scrubbed but it is so worth it.

Fantastic experience! The ladies working there were all lovely and made us feel very comfortable. The spa was cute and cozy, good facilities. Highly recommend to try the dry sauna. Would come again with my girls.

My first time visiting Arisoo Chatswood today, Anna was fantastic! After lux steam and spa session, she scrubbed and polished which was followed by a face and back massage. She then washed and massaged my hair/head. I can't wait to go back!

Interesting experience. Scrubbed and massaged in areas never worked on anywhere else. I got a big towel and a small towel to use plus a locker. There’s water outside the change room to drink. In the wet zone there are showers, a steam room, a hot spa, a cold spa and treatment area with 4 plastic tables - note there’s no partitions between the tables. Everyone was fully naked inside the spa. The sauna is actually outside the change room, and I only saw it as I was leaving.

Great little Korean bathhouse in the middle of Chatswood- amazingly similar atmosphere to the bathhouses in Korea with scrub and shampoo services available. Booking needed in advance.

Thank you ladies I had the most fantastic experience with your service. It was my first time and although I felt a bit apprehensive of what to expect, I left feeling like a new person in my skin. The experience was exciting and exhilirating and loved the fact that Lisa who gave me a thorough scrub (knowing it was my first time) made sure I was alright whilst she scrubbed me. I will definitely recommend this experience and will return for another pampered session.

The staff are always welcoming and I love how my skin feels beautiful, soft and smooth after a scrub and facial.

If your thinking of the traditional spa treatment don't - throw that idea out the window, my daughter & I went there and it was a total experience for us. On the website it read "be naked covered with your bath towel or swim suit" we wore a swimsuit - well when we both went in for the body scrub we were told top and bottom off - we did and after that we just went with the flow - it was great I have never had my body scrubbed the way they do it and we felt really comfortable in our own skin and everyone was so friendly. I was totally horrified with the amount of dead skin after the scrub. We soaked in the spa, went in the steam room, cold bath and dry sauna - we were there for 3 hours - my skin was so smooth and I felt so relaxed. I will be going back highly recommend.

Amazing value for money experience! Not the fanciest space but if you are a person that values substance this delivers in spades. Very freeing to sit and chat to strangers in the nud, and then get stripped of several skin layers and massaged etc. It's like being reborn. I feel fresh and new! Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing and very accommodating
I cannot rave about this spa enough. I am a visually impaired woman who is accustomed to being politely but insistently refused service in various places because my disability makes it hard for others to do their job as quickly or efficiently. However, not only were the staff welcoming and pleasant, they could not do enough to make me feel secure, safe and totally comfortable - all without any awkwardness or false modesty.

Having read the “other review” wherein the writer claimed she asked her (imaginary) friends if the spa is culturally authentic, I can vouch that it is not only so but also is very much in keeping with empowering women to recognise the beauty we all have without the need to hide our so called flaws and / or differences. I have not felt so totally accepted in a very long time.

I came away feeling sparkly clean, inside and out; relaxed; warmed in body & soul; and totally referenced. I strongly recommend this experience to every woman - regardless of cultural heritage, personal beliefs, shyness or fear of being the odd one out.

This is a gem. What great value for a most generous scrub and massage. Have not experienced this anywhere else in Sydney. Thank you to the lovely ladies who take such care and pride in their service. See you again soon.

I love it. I used to go to a place at Kings Cross many years ago than they closed that place and I wasn't able to find a place offer this type of services for lady only till I found this one. I booked in and the ladies was very friendly and I enjoyed my use of the facilities and I got the full package. Will definitely go back again.

I went to the Arisoo Spa in Paddington. This was the first time to a Korean Bathhouse. I purchased the signature package. I will definately be back. I walked out completely blissed out. Loved it!

Incredible. Would recommend the spa and full body scrub with massage. New venue in Paddington - was glorious.

Had a very unpleasant and weird experience here with my friend who decided to try out a two person package for valentines day. We found a deal off groupon but from what was advertised it seemed like a usual facial and body massage package with access to spa amenities, with a max duration of 3 hours. We were not notified anywhere in the groupon deal or on the website that we needed to be nude for the treatment, which was a bit of a cultural shock to us. It was also quite unprofessional for the therapist to be in her underwear whilst performing the exfoliating and massage. It was so unhygienic as well because the beds weren’t really properly cleaned between each client and the exfoliating mitts between me and my friend im pretty sure were NOT changed.

The massage was also done whilst we were still completely wet with creams, and not oils like advertised in the deal. It was also quite uncomfortable that both me and my friend were left completely exposed when sections of our body that weren’t our privates were being worked on but we weren’t covered with drapes during the exfoliating. I have had multiple remedial massages done before and they have always draped your private parts when not working on it or near it. Furthermore, the aftercare was quite poorly executed as well; there were no face creams or body creams to use after we had washed and dried ourselves and the fact that the therapist walked into the change rooms completely naked after giving my friend and I our treatments and was refilling her liquid soaps completely naked in front of us.

All in all would NOT recommend this spa to anyone, and would not come back again. I even confirmed with multiple friends afterwards if this was just a cultural norm to which everyone agreed IT WAS NOT NORMAL AT ALL. Considering we paid around $90 for the deal, it is definitely not worth the money paid and lowkey misleading advertisement.

Thanks for responding, but I would just like to reiterate that the poor hygiene was never addressed about using that same exfoliating equipment between clients. Also the last time I checked, rinsing off a bed with a bucket of water is not appropriate cleaning method between clients receiving any type of health or remedial care and not very COVID safe I might add.

Also I never said that you guys only mentioned facial and body massage in the advert; my friend and I did read all the terms and conditions of groupon and there was no mention of being naked or bringing swimmers if we were uncomfortable. I have another friend of mine who posts groupon deals all the time and can modify the terms and conditions when they need to after a deal is posted, so I still stick by my decision that the advertisement was quite misleading.

Additionally, I understand if the therapist needs to wear hydro friendly wear due to the humidity and moisture in the hydro-room, but wearing underwear doesn’t exactly count as professional attire is you ask me. Just like your terms and conditions state she can wear a swimsuit as well. You have also failed to address the need as to why the therapist was refilling empty containers BUTT NAKED in the change rooms with customers still there afterwards, that was very unprofessional.

Lastly, I did consider that it was a cultural difference that I might be over reacting with the openness of the spa, but I have already contacted and spoken to multiple of korean friends who have been to authentic korean bath houses and spas and none of them told me that the service I received was appropriate.

Clean, tidy, professional/friendly staff, small business so nice n cozy. Worth the $100 Groupon and ill be returning. Women only, option to wear bathers or go natural. If u want to go here read reviews and id say, check the website and call them for more info so you know what to expect. Just in case you are used to quiet spas and bathhouses, this once didn't request it.
