Curt reception staff. The type that shouldn't be in customer service, but are. Centre is challenging to get in, with doctors picky about when they want to see new patients, most have closed books, and almost all of them work part time hours. Just impossible to work around when you're a working parent and kids are at school.

I cannot fault appletree family practice! Great service, fantastic doctors and nurses! It’s reassuring, to have that security, in your times or need!

Extremely poor customer service towards Patients with mental health concerns. Found them no help at all towards a family member. Very disappointed ️

A complete and professional organisation. I am so pleased that we have found such a wonderful practice and a very special GP in Dr Nicole Hutchens.

Really disappointed with an experience I had the other day. I called to ask when the next appointment for a standard consult was, I have been coming here for over 7-8 years. I was told nope there is a 3-4 WEEK wait, I spoke with someone named Deanna, she was very curt and rude. I called back and spoke to someone else 5 mins later asked the same question and got in at 4pm that same day and she was gorgeous and so helpful! Is it standard practice for reception staff to not bother to even try and give someone access to healthcare? Isn’t that your job? Dr’s are amazing, this woman at reception should look into a different career.

Appletree USED to be an amazing practise. Unfortunately it's gone severely down hill. Particularly reception staff. Incredibly rude, zero customer service, let alone care or sympathy for people who are ill or vaunerable. Booking an appointment is the equivalent of getting in touch with anyone at centrelink. Wanna see your Dr? Goodluck.
When the office is open, answering machine messages are left on for ages so no one can get through, they also put an answering message on for lunch!? I'm sorry but everytime I'm in the office there is at least 6 reception staff, why isn't lunch staggered so people are able to contact their local Drs to book appointments - incredibly lazy and short-sighted way to manage lunch breaks and continue the flow of care to patients. You're a drs office, not a scaffolding company! Illness doesn't wait! Will happily be taking my health and families health anywhere else.

Called the practice half a dozen times to get them to send a specialist referral. Absolutely no follow up even when requesting a call back. Terrible service.

A very inconsistent practice. Some of the reception staff are impatient, dismissive and on one instance, after a 23min wait on the phone she began to talk to another receptionist and then hung up. They say that they will follow up or do something but thus far, none have. However, if you are lucky to have your call answered by this one "older" lady, your are in luck as she is amazing and works with you to get an appointment (myself or kids), as well as follows up on referrals and other paperwork. I wish the other staff had the same approach dealing with people. The 3 different doctors that I've seen and our kids main doctor are great. However, unless you want to wait 4 weeks, you won't see the same doctor twice. It it what it is, and I'm sure that they are extremely busy leading to the issues above.

The doctors are great, but one of the reception staff should look into a career that doesn't involve speaking to the public. I called with a simple question but she was very unhelpful and rude. I won't be returning.

I visit the Appletree Family practice as necessary and have always found the staff friendly and very professional. Though the wait for my appointment can sometimes be longer than expected, I also understand that each visit is personalised to each patient, a fact i appreciate when I'm seen (ie I don't feel like a number).

Been going to this practice for years. Not likely to continue. The focus on patients has notably declined. The reception is never open at the advertised time when you ring. Always get the recorded message until the reception staff can be bothered switching it off. The reception takes a 'lunch break' so again if you're at work and want to book an appointment in your lunch because that's the only time you can ring you can't because they switch the phones off. You get told different things from different reception staff. Had several appointments cancelled where Dr was sick and they could not even arrange for another appointment. They will only book you in to first available when you've already been waiting several weeks to get in, which could be weeks away. And they make you contact to do that, they don't offer. Just ring and say drs cancelled. If you want to see someone urgently, it's dependent on what receptionist you get as to what you're told about available appointments. Some say no appointments for several days, others will tell you to ring back first thing the following morning for cancellations or the appointments they leave open for bookings on that day. There is one particular receptionists who is ALWAYS incredibly rude, rude on the phone and rude fact to face. If you don't like your job honey go do something else. And when you do get an appointment, expect to sit there and wait at least 40 mins NEVER on time. Drs a mixed bag. If you see one you haven't seen before they are dismissive, but you can never see the same Dr unless you want to wait weeks. But medical conditions don't wait till an appointment is available do they?

I have attended this surgery for many years and have seen many of the GP's. Today I had a very satisfactory and thorough consultation with good advice and in a manner that made me feel listened to and respected.

The new way of entering the surgery is through a intercom, there is absolutely no privacy when answering questions the receptionist asks & many times I have attended the practice there were people able to listen in to the conversation. I would like my families private medical information kept from others.

Accessing the video link with Dr Scott was easy to do. It was good to have visual contact as well as being able to converse. As usual Dr Scott was very thorough and advised me of upcoming commitments and visits to specialists. Attached is a photo of a gilt-edged sunrise, taken yesterday from our place at Charlestown- I hope that you like it! I did have difficulty being able to send the review after selecting a photo!

Apple tree family doctors are always extremely helpful. From the Receptionists that great to the wonderful doctors, I can’t fault them. I’m a grandmother bringing up two grandchildren and they are wonderful to all three of us. I highly recommend them to family’s.

Found it so easy to speak to the Dr and also made the appointment quicker. Will conduct business more often this way

First time experience with this clinic and it was super. Big shout out to the nurses there. You made a very anxious and nervous patient feel at ease even when things didn’t go exactly to plan. Thank you ️

When the community was advised to vaccinate, Appletree Family Practice and all the staff were there to help. Since my GP was at Appletree my booking for the first vaccination was a phone call away.
On the day of the first "jab", it was no stress at all, everything was well ordered and organised; just paperwork to be completed and information about vaccination after I had received my "jab". I was notified with an appointment card with the date of the second vaccination so no chance of forgetting that date.
I was advised that the time period for second vaccination was shortened. Booking was by a 'phone call. So again, the vaccination experience was like the first time.
Thank you, Appletree Family Practice.
