Regarding rental department at Cardiff office, Worst agency I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Unethical, Rude and unprofessional behaviour we receive from Melisa and Julie.
Please stay away from them to save your bond.
They will never put any minor issue of the tenancy entry report but they will pick each and small (even existing issue) during exit.
Too many managers there, Everytime different manager call for new issues.
If you justify anything, they will say - I am not aware about it as another manager did that etc etc.
Only exceptional service we receive from Bree at front office- She is amazing.

Please Stay away from them to avoid future nightmare and mental stress.

We leased a property through Andriessen Property / Newcastle Property Management for 6.5 years. The house was in great condition and we loved living there, however any dealings with NPM and the Property Management team were horrendous. The Property Managers were extremely hard to deal with. Their communication skills were very poor on all fronts. Their current receptionist is rude, not helpful with fielding phone calls from tenants and appears to have minimal knowledge about real estate and Property Management in general.

As a tenant, if you sent an email to a Property Manager, you were lucky to receive a response and when you did it always contained spelling errors, consisted of minimal information and at times did not even make sense.

There were two tenants on our lease and the second tenant was never included in correspondence from NPM, including emails (even if the second tenant sent the initial email to begin with).

Twice during our tenancy, NPM scheduled routine inspections and the Property Manager failed to turn up. This happened for a second time in November 2022. I called NPM after the inspection window to see if the Property Manager was still coming to complete her inspection - the same Receptionist placed me on hold for over five minutes, then picked up the phone and said "she can't make it today, can't we just do it next week? "

Upon vacating the property (February 2023), we emailed through our notice to vacate and as expected, the process was not made easy by NPM. We engaged NPM's preferred end of lease cleaner to complete a professional clean before we returned the keys, however the Property Manager was not satisfied with the work their preferred trade recommended, so forced me to contact them to go back to the property. This was nearly two weeks after we returned the keys. We had a dog during our tenancy, so as per our lease agreement, we arranged a professional carpet clean and flea spray at our expense (however the incompetent Property Manager failed to advise us the landlord was removing all the carpet in the property after we vacated and the next tenants moving in) so it was not necessary for us to organise a carpet clean.

As expected, the same Property Manager failed to keep us updated on finalising the tenancy, which included arranging trades she thought it was necessary to engage at our expense. My co-tenant and I would call her for an update (she would never answer or return our calls) along with sending through follow-up emails, (which were never responded to).

It took the Property Manager four weeks to finalise our tenancy and return the balance of our bond to us, after we ensured we returned the property in the same condition it was provided to us in (excluding fair wear and tear during a 6.5 year tenancy).

As an ex-Property Manager with nearly 10 years of Real Estate experience and a landlord myself, I would not consider engaging Andriessen Property / NPM as Real Estate Agents.

Craig Andriessen is the best and hardest working real estate I know. Craig's commitment and work ethic make him a pleasure to deal with. Craig will respond almost immediately to any request without a fuss. I made an enquiry on real estate.com in regards to a shop.
