Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool reviews
56 Restaurant:
food is yummy. I'd rate this place 5 stars if the staff smiled more.delicious food and spectacular views.
Utterly love this place. Incredible pool, modern facilities, stunning location and got my day off to an amazing start even on a rainy grey autumn day. Made me want to move to Sydney. Love it.
Your steam room is weak as pi$$, boost up the temprature i dont enjoy the slow cook method.go lane cove aquatic centre or homebush and see what temp they have steam room set, you shouldnt be able to see the people inside there should be steam in the steam room
Great spot for a swim in a 50m heated saltwater pool and has a Cafe with panoramic views! Change room facilities are great!
Roy Charlton Pool is just up from the art gallery and botanic gardens. Travel by bus route 441 or drive and park near by. Parking is up to 4 hours and you have to pay of course.
Right on the water at the harbours edge.
Please feel free to click on helpfull. Thanks
This oasis in the heart of the city is one of the best kept secrets around. A perfect place where you can spend a hot summer day relaxing and enjoying yourself. The care has a beautiful macadamia nut latte which tastes wonderful. I really can't stress how great this place it. Make sure you visit it
The location is great but its very busy and the parking is expensive at $8.50 per hour. Then entry fee on top. But the kids will love it.
Nice 50m pool, with a smaller one for kids. Bit pricey if you’re not a member. Remember to bring goggles because of the salt water!
Very nice club! Great view, nice atmosphere and the pool is very clean, excellent to spend an afternoon reading and swimming, enjoying the sun. There is also a restaurant there and some classes gym classes available. The pool access cost 6 aud.
Good to dip in for a swim. Has a nice view to look over the pool. A chance to admire those military ships that docked nearby. Cafe's food was bad. Coffee was diluted with milk. The art of plating was ok. Ordered a baramundi and salmon, salmon was over cook, both fishes were too salty and the garnishes were too sour. It's not money for value.
Great pool and great location. Cheap to get into and there is a great little cafe on top which serves nice food and coffee. Worth going to even if you aren’t interested in the swimming part
Love this pool! It's just over a km walk from my work, i get to swim for half an hour then I walk back. Nice way to spend my lunch hour! The water is salt water treated, has lanes dedicated for laps, slow, medium, fast and free play. A separate small pool for children play. Has a gorgeous view of the harbour for added bonus. Easily the best outdoor pool in Sydney CBD. Pool Deck cafe has great food as well.
6.30 am on your last day in Sydney, what could be better than a quick run through the botanical gardens filled by a swim in this pool? Not much. You'll soon see why the Aussies win so many Olympic medals - stick to the slow lane and you'll be fine.
Great atmosphere and vibes
Beautiful views
Staff are friendly and energetic
Super helpful especially when I needed some extra adjustments for my step son
We attended in a large group for a bloggers brunch and were accommodated well
The food was healthy and well presented
The desserts were amaaazing
The only downfall is lack of on site parking.
Instagram friendly? Yes
Salt / Chlorine outdoor pool. Good sun all day, gets the afternoon sun until the last drop. Make sure you bring goggles if you plan to do laps as the salt combo burns like fire.the only downside is super expensive parking and sometimes a few too many posers ;) make sure you get a parking ticket because they WILL book you.
Had function here in Pool Cafe. Such a great location. Great food and wine selections. Staff friendly and helpful. Space is great for any size event and such great views of Sydney Harbour and also Garden Island and Navy ships. An bring own music or use the music supplied.
