Amber Tiles

I have been purchasing and installing all types of Pavers, tiles, retaining blocks, stone wall claddings and drains from Amber Kingsford for over 10 years and find them very easy to deal with, professional advice and quality products.
Definately a must to check out

Poor customer service and no responsibility or assistance when things go wrong. After a very positive initial sales experience it went wrong from that point forward. Several boxes of tiles delivered broken, ok this can happen but no apology and they made us drive over to pick up replacements and didn’t replace the delivery we paid for. Later we found out they had also only given us one bag of specifically colour matched grout when we needed 5 which delayed our build - they were the ones that guided the volume ordered. Only uoon chasing this up we’re we told they were out of stock. They wouldn’t even ring other Amber stores to help us fix the problem. This left us with several phone calls and 1.5 hour round trip to get what we needed.

The tiler now had to work between Christmas and new year. After the all the drama we were just happy it would finally be done and our excitement quickly disappeared when we discovered the bathroom floor tiles supplied were not white pebbles as ordered but brown and grey. These had been unwittingly laid by our builder while we were on holiday. When we called Amber for an explanation they immediately blamed their third party supplier and said they would pass our issue to them.

Very poor. When they help you match the colours you expect them to provide what you ordered with enough grout to do the job.

No apologies given and very dismissive. Amber certainly have ‘the answer’; it’s to blame everyone but themselves. Definitely not recommended.

I rushed into Amber Tiles Kingsford in a panic this afternoon as my builder had run out of a specific tile from another shop. Katrina went over and beyond to help me trace the batch on the current box of tiles and checked with their supplier. She checked that it was the same manufacturer/company/description/colour and batch number and ordered the shortfall for me. If you want fantastic service, competitive prices and excellent choices, just come to Amber Tiles! Katrina is an amazing staff. All businesses should have someone like her on board! What a gem! She was quick smart, friendly and careful. Thank you Katrina!

Very poor refund policy. I was told it would cost $77 to return one unopened box of tiles, despite T & C saying otherwise. I wouldn't shop there again.

I had no idea what I wanted for my foyer just new I wanted it special. Belinda was most helpful she didn't stop till we got the right one. Love my foyer will be back to update the bathroom

Recently had to do a bathroom renovation in Watsons Bay and found the advice and range exceptional. Deceptively small from the street the upstairs tile showroom was a welcome suprise and the help we got from Corrine and Belinda was spot on. Would (and have) highly recommend them to family and friends. Parking was a bit of an issue but not unusual in that part of town, the only real down side I could think of.
