Reception staff reluctant to help nor wish to be troubled when asked for copies of the MRI and some water on a hot day. Treated us, patients with disdained. Very bad attitude and rude. The management seriously need to address their attitude and behaviour given the number of complaints.

Only giving this clinic a one star because it won't allow me to rate lower. The reception staff member i spoke to was disgustingly rude! Unhelpful and overall had the most sour attitude that I've experienced in a long time. You are in medical and should be a lot kinder to people! We are getting scans done because we have something wrong! Please train your staff to be compassionate and caring not rude and unhelpful.

Absolutely disgustingly rude staff member on the phone who could not even assist with my very simple enquiry. I wish I remembered her name as I think she needs a career change. As a medical professional myself, I was appalled with the attitude I received from her.

Booked an appointment on Monday for this specific centre as I was told by receptionist it was but billed.
When I arrived on Wednesday having an unpaid day off work was told it wasn’t covered under Medicare. $400
Was told the receptionist who booked me in doesn’t usually work there and sorry they gave you the wrong information but bad luck.
Very rude staff who have no compassion.
Avoid this Center at all costs.
Ashfield at least explained why it wasn’t covered.

Super rude! Son was getting an x-ray and I got told to leave the room and sit in a little corner like I was a child. Lady was lucky I bit my tongue.

Had my mri done for 500AUD. But since I am moving overseas I asked for a digital format of my films. I was told that I can buy it for 50 AUD and they will copy the films on my usb. I am speechless. After paying 500 aud I need to give them 50 more for the the copy to usb “service”.

Just stop working as a receptionist if you cannot perform your best service towards customer! I’ve called several time to arrange booking for the xray and ultrasound, both experiences was awful. Someone from the reception clearly don’t have basic skill to talk friendly at all! I haven’t finished my sentence and she cut off and went straight forward “just come for xray no need to book! ”. Unbelievable! This place need to shut down!

Does the receptionist hate her job? The one with the american accent, is just awful. She spoke to me with such disregard and distaste as if i was bothering her for an enquiry with a GP. Please do better for patients & do not work in customer service if you have a negative attitude towards patients and other health professionals.

Probably one of the rudest people I've ever had the displeasure of talking to. Treated like a criminal for wanting to book and appointment. She seemed genuinely disappointed that I had all the paperwork ready so she couldn't unleash her maximum rudeness. And that was just one phone call. Can't wait to see how I'll be treated when I dare to show up for my appointment. If you have the choice, go somewhere else.

Incredibly insensitive reception staff. Nothing online to warn that their x-ray machine wasn't working for the day. Was told I couldn't forward my referral by email and that I had to go home and print it off - blatantly not true. People receiving intimate instructions on how to prep for their tests, and being given pre-test fluids to ingest, IN the reception area. Save the trouble and go to the Five Dock location.

This place needs to be shut down. I'm an embarrassment to the Alfred Imaging brand and if you read through the many many poor reviews you can see why. The staff behind the counter behave like toddlers and are unbelievably rude.

So unprofessional, poor handling of delicate situation, left with zero confidence in their opinion and will now have to spend money on seeking a second opinion. Dr Healy was extremely nonchalant, and the radiographers were learning how to use the machine on me. They were distracted with the machine settings preferences and were repeatedly asking me what it was they were looking for?
So disgusted in this service, the reception team were no better. Grumpy and rude.
Avoid at all cost!

There is lots of background noise from.somewhere. I was unable to determine where, but it's like a very busy restaurant on the street. Reception has difficulty hearing too. It may be alright if you have the most expensive hearing aids, even the non-hearing impaired. They were basically friendly and helpful. The MRI guy read the form wrong and started asking me about teeth. After a second look he realized his mistake. Upon leaving I had to ask where my items were for someone to pull a curtain aside and be told again and again to go to reception all within 5 seconds, as if anyone would actually want to stay longer. The only really good thing is you can return another day to collect the results and not sit in that awfully noisy place.

Reception was very friendly & the radiographer was kind, caring and friendly. When you go for these kind of procedures you can feel vulnerable but I felt cared for and looked after. Thank you.

I just called the receptionist and she was awfully rude. The other staff at other locations are fine but this lady she was so impolite. And just 5 minutes ago i called at campsie’s imaging and she told me they take $400 for MRI Where as this rude lady was like we take $600 and when i said why is the price different from the same branch her answer was like “we just take different price from them” Didn’t even bother to say why? I forgot her name but swear if i knew i would go there and tell her she is not fit for any jobs!

Had to have an MRI due to a work injury.
Receptionist was professional and friendly, and was extremely helpful when I didn’t know that I had to submit a letter of authorisation from the insurance company, and thanks to her I was able to have the MRI at the booked hour.
MRI was done by a lovely woman. Felt comfortable the whole time I was there.
I was suppose to see a doctor a few days after, but I had a call from them to come and pick up the films and to have a chat with one of their doctors. He explained that I had a fracture and shouldn’t wait too long to have my knee checked. Saw an specialist, and had a recovery plan the same day.

Front desk stuff untrained requesting GP referral for Medicare without specifics sending you right left and Centre to get you irrelevant paperwork wasting time - no apologies and no accountability - disappointing considering it is in an industry that requires so much attention to details
