ALDI Waterloo reviews
47I find that Aldi's sooo all over the place, its quite hard to do a grocery shop for all that I need.
Yesterday one of the busiest shopping days, the botton carpark exit was blocked by workers doing something to the outside of the building. The only exit was through the top. At the same time two huge trucks delivered goods to Aldi the two trucks cant fit in the dock so they blocked cars entering and trying to exit.
Aldi - you love it or you hate it. Anyway I think it's a great shop, it has a very convenient 1h parking right next to it and its very well reachable from the M1 driving north back home!
The new cashier was rude and unpolite. I’ve been shopping here for a long time, not happy to come back again
I dont use aldi because their shops were mostly somewhere odd or less convenient to go than others within the retail strip. This come to my conclusion they're supposedly cheaper because they pay less rent.
A great inner-city location found on Danks St in Waterloo. Customer parking available, and the supermarket is very clean and well designed.
The range of alcohol is amazing, and there’s some genuine bargains to be found here. The staff were very friendly as well; I must say it’s a huge recommendation from me. Well done ALDI!
Cheaper and products just as good if not better than the other major supermarkets. I'd recommend trying their alcohol range too. Some high quality wines and beer available. Special buys are updated twice a week, which means some real bargains can be snapped up. Always worth while to pick up a catalogue to be in the know. Waterloo has limited parking available which is not under cover. That said, it's often not too busy and service is readily available. Team are friendly and helpful, a good overall experience!
Very friendly staff. Always greeted with a smile. This is one of the best Aldi stores in Sydney.
This store was funny. The stuff in stock was random &scattered. And at the store front before checking out they have a large choice of cheap liquor, incase you forgot you were there to buy drinks with your milk&bread. Priced at $2: 95 a bottle, I got 3 and yeah, friendly helpful staff as well as things you didn't know you needed to buy, CHEAP.
My favourite ALDI. Tends not to be too crowded during the times I prefer to shop, and just like what ALDI can and should be, you see what you get.
Shop is usually easy for finding parking, staff are pleasant. The shop itself is easy to navigate if you need just a couple of essentials, which I can't say to be true of some competitors.
Rude cashier, I request him to stop the conveyor that I can place the heavy item in front of the light item. That will easier to organise trolly because heavy item better to place in the bottom. But the grey hair middle age cashier stilll moving the conveyor and break my words with keep speaking loudly to me like a dean for 3 minuts! Seems like he trying to educate me. He didn't want to listen to me just talking. He even not consider customers' feeling. That was awful.
Very good ALDI. Always clean and well stocked. I find they have a good amount of their special buys there too.
Easy access and Free 1hr parking, Clean shop and great deals - Normal fast and friendly service from casher - only 4 starts due to no box in stocks at pick hours 5: 30pm.
Always good value for money, but what you see is what you get.might not get next time so grab it now
As with all Aldi stores a good selection of well priced grocery items, and always a few specials.
Most of the staff are friendly, always good deals, heaps of stuff to get distracted with in the middle. Have some great items during their weekly deals
Nice and very good place for daily routine stuff and quite reasonable compared to other super markets
Good service, cheap prices & great quality as usual.
ALDI is the best. But needs to use Oz harvest rather than throwing food away. I'll be sticking with ALDI for good. Can't go wrong.
Thanks ALDI.
The Aldi itself is OK, it's as big as other Aldi stores in the area, nice, and clean. Unfortunately the precinct keep reducing the "free parking" hours to 1 hour (down from 2 hours before). This has severe impact to the shopping experience as you will constantly worry about lapsing the 1 hour limit and have to pay ridiculous amount.
Next closest Aldi is at Maroubra (2 hours free parking), or Eastlakes (free parking, but the precinct is quite old).
A good Aldi site with reasonable amount of (timed) free parking outside. It's not a huge store site so isn't as fully stocked as some larger Aldis, but does carry a solid range of essentials. Fruit and veg are good quality for a market of this type. Normally not too busy and staff are responsive about opening extra checkouts when lines do get longer. This is my usual supermarket and weekly savings are considerable compared to shopping at the big name grocery nearby.
