ALDI Waterloo reviews
47Aldi - you love it or you hate it. Anyway I think it's a great shop, it has a very convenient 1h parking right next to it and its very well reachable from the M1 driving north back home!
A great inner-city location found on Danks St in Waterloo. Customer parking available, and the supermarket is very clean and well designed.
The range of alcohol is amazing, and there’s some genuine bargains to be found here. The staff were very friendly as well; I must say it’s a huge recommendation from me. Well done ALDI!
Cheaper and products just as good if not better than the other major supermarkets. I'd recommend trying their alcohol range too. Some high quality wines and beer available. Special buys are updated twice a week, which means some real bargains can be snapped up. Always worth while to pick up a catalogue to be in the know. Waterloo has limited parking available which is not under cover. That said, it's often not too busy and service is readily available. Team are friendly and helpful, a good overall experience!
Very friendly staff. Always greeted with a smile. This is one of the best Aldi stores in Sydney.
Always good value for money, but what you see is what you get.might not get next time so grab it now
Nice and very good place for daily routine stuff and quite reasonable compared to other super markets
Good service, cheap prices & great quality as usual.
ALDI is the best. But needs to use Oz harvest rather than throwing food away. I'll be sticking with ALDI for good. Can't go wrong.
Thanks ALDI.
Amazing prices and great service! Also the product cycle is interesting and frequently showcases good bargains
Best supermarket in the area. They don't often bother playing radio music while you're there, and shopping to the silence is a great breath of refreshment and makes shopping surprisingly relaxing.
I thought I lost my headphones in the store, so I gave them my number. The manager was kind enough to call me that night and inform me they found them. Great customer servuce.
The cashiers are always friendly and make you feel like family. Most of the time I prefer self checkouts, but I don't mind the method here because I know the cashiers are kind and helpful.
Also, the wine selection at this store is better than any other small liquor store. They really do sell great wines, and the best cheap wines in Australia.
If you know anything about how Aldi's and how they cut corners to sell cheaper food, you can appreciate the chain. The only negative about these stores is that oftentimes the most zany people happen to shop here. It makes for some great weird moments for entertainment while you're shopping.
Always do my shopping here. Nice layout, has most things you'd need at a good price and the special buys aisle is fun to go through each visit. Staff are friendly as well. The shopping trolleys sometimes have a tendency to be over-parked and partially block the car park, but doesn't happen often.
This is my Local ALDI.
I love it.
There's Free Parking for an Hour in a Secure Car Park.
Last year the Store was totally refurbished.
The Aisles are wide and you can get around with ease.
You can find what you're looking for easily.
There's no boxes on the floors to cause tripping hazards like in some of the other stores.
They have a wide variety of goods.
All their Trolleys are in good condition.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
My only little complaint is that they have the fruit and veg where you first enter the store. Meaning you either have to try not to squash your fresh produce with your other items or you do a "back track" and come back after the rest of your shopping.
I understand that it looks Aesthetically Pleasing to the Eye.but it's a Pain in the Butt to have to make your way back to the beginning of the Store.
Even so. I really enjoy shopping here.
It's nice not to be Over Whelmed by huge crowds of people all trying to grab the same item.
Shoppers actually appear more relaxed and sociable at this store. It's nice to have a chat or a smile with another shopper.
Great service.great pricing and great international variety of products.always having something new draws me back each week.love the cheese section and their pricing
It’s an Aldi! So of course it’s awesome! I like the style of this one.wide aisles, bright light.even if the products are cheap the setting seams expensive:)
I'm already a fan of Aldi but this one is particularly good thanks to the consistently friendly and helpful staff.
Usual Aldi store. We visited to eat Saturday lunch at the great little Vietnamese restaurant out front. Then picked up a few groceries at Aldi because it was right there.
A great little aldi with a super easy car park that has one hour free parking. Has good stock levels and sells alcohol. Staff are friendly and it's a clean stall.
Best ALDI store. Easy, close parking for quick entry and exit. Biggest range, least customers = fast shopping experience.
It's an ALDI so you get that instilled German efficiency lol.
Well sized and very well stocked store, from foodstuffs to TVs, with genuinely friendly staff and heaps of parking.
I'm in Alexandria, got a Woolworths down the road but lately I've been shopping here more.
I love ALDI. Their stuff is generally better and close to half the price of Colesworth. This store had alcohol which is great too. The staff here are very quick to open up more registers when it's busy. They are always really good with returns too.
Very conveniently located on my cycling commute with racks to park and lock. Perfect to stop by to collect dinner ingredients on the way home!
