Came in prior to opening, asked if it's possible to bring my young daughter with (4.5yrs) the guy said yes.
Showed up later with her in the pouring rain - same guy says: nope! We can't have young kid here Coz we're busy.
Bad form guys, very disappointing.

A fantastic climbing gym. The climbs are well-set, and the gym is well-appointed with everything you need.

After climbing at 9 Degrees for the past 9 months I won’t likely attend again. The climbing is great and the gym is well equipped. However, the customer service is regularly quite poor. Some staff are good but there are 2-3 others who are rude and make the environment unenjoyable. It’s also pretty dirty and grubby throughout. It’s a male dominated space and more needs to be done to make it a more welcoming space for women. Has great potential but I feel it’s currently lacking.

Large space with good climbs. Sometimes the resets are a little sparse. Could do with more climbs on the walls

Excellent gym. Good setting. A mixture of overhanging and slab.
Helpful and friendly staff. You can hire shoes and there is free liquid chalk to use. There's a gear shop as well. There's also a cafe.
Recommend this place

Excellent bouldering gym. The walls are changed regularly so there is always something new to master. Even the easier difficulty climbs give you new skills to learn. Well maintained and clearly well thought out.

Best boulder around! Staff very kind! The best Part is that you can pay monthly and used all the 9 degrees around! Amazing!

So good. A vibrant space, not too far from CBD, (being close to the airport line station and to central). Went there with a bunch of MBA alumni with varying degrees of expertise. Half of us had not done bouldering before, yet it was fun for all. Take the time to go through the safety videos and walk-throughs, as with no roped you do need to look out for yourself. But sooo much fun that I am already planning to head up there again. We had booked for three hours and we all pretty much used up all the time. Easy progress from basic to advanced, and the atmosphere is great. They have designed this place in a beautiful manner.

The staff are all very friendly and very helpful. Shoes are present for hiring, and in big numbers and sanitised, so it works well. Personally, I loved it, and this was my first time bouldering, but soon was onto the more advanced tracks.

Great gym, plenty of range for all skill levels, clean and new, and nice and spacious - I like that the holds aren’t all crammed on top of each other like at some other gyms. Would be nice if it had more options for members to do some training on occasion though - 1 pullup bar and a couple of hangboards aren’t really enough for a comprehensive workout. 9D Alexandria and Lane Cove, or Climb Fit in Kirrawee, all have much better training areas for guests.

9 Degrees is an amazing bouldering gym, all the climbs are great fun and an awesome challenge. Walls are clean and the routes are changed frequently to keep it fresh. Waterloo is pretty challenging so better for people who climb a bit already.

The pho tai was really good and I would highly recommend it. The cute waitress recommended Hanoi beer but I had the Saigon. I will be returning soon - hungry for more.

Friendly staff. Good variety of walls and routes. Just didn't feel like there was enough benches around the facility. It meant that people had to sit on the pads, which can interfere with climbing. And the landing pads are pretty hard lol. But overall, I like the way the routes are set. And the facility is extremely clean!

Very big gym. Great variety of routes.the crash mat is a bit hard though compared to the one in LC and P. Just need to be a bit more careful when you land.

Good bouldering facility with plenty of different wall profiles and problems. Baby/Kids friendly and great for a first timer getting familiarised with climbing. More advanced climbers have access to a kilter board, campus and spray wall. Would be good to add a warm up area and a moonboard!

Great new gym. Came on opening day and was greeted by really helpful and friendly staff. One of the bigger 9D gyms after trying lame cove and rydalmere/parra. Excited about this new gym!
