Vietnam House reviews
31Superb true Vietnamese food and caring prompt service. The pork chops were divine as was the quail. I ordered 2 takeaways for my trip back to Sydney after eating in, it was that good! Loved it - and excellent price too!
The Vietnamese pork rolls are to die for. Super quick service and tasty food. Highly recommend
Fish sauce Chicken wings was so delicious and service was fast.
Staff was nice and friendly
Prices are reasonable and vermicelli noodles salad with lemongrass beef was delicious fresh salad and good portions. Will definitely come back to tryout other dishes.
Decent Pho, on the sweeter side.
Lemongrass Beef Bun, was good.
Crispy Skin Chicken also solid.
The fish sauce was on the lighter side.
Friendly service.
Efficient.
Will be back to try more off the menu.
Great place for a warm soup or meal. Friendly service. Make sure to order a few rice paper rolls
Fast service. Very tasty too. Small dishes like quail, meatballs, spring rolls etc, good for small snacks or a nice pho meal.
Absolutely excellent service.
My partner is a severe celiac so eating out is very very hard.
The wonderfull lady who greeted us described all our options, explained how its cooked and what we could and couldn't eat/touch/use.
Portion sizes were great and prices very reasonable for what we got.
Quick and friendly service without any judgement for having food allergies.
We will be coming back!
Delicious range of Vietnamese food. Slowly working our way through the menu, but keep coming back to the bún.
I am here to give a shout out to their banh mi. One of the best and closest in Canberra to what I had in Saigon.
My wife and I booked a table for Friday night dinner on the 20 November 2020. This was our first time, not knowing really what to expect! What a little secret this place turned out to be, fantastic food, fresh, great size portions and very friendly staff, do yourself a favour and try it out, you will not be disappointed.

This restaurant is under new ownership and has been recently renovated.
I have been back several times since the reopening and have found it to be one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Canberra. The staff are all very professional and friendly.
The spring rolls, bun thit nuong, satay chicken, pho and beef salad are all delicious.
It was good before under the previous owners, but Vietnam House has moved to a new level since the post lockdown reopening.
Always love coming here, great food. Family owned and operated, so you'll always get the same service each and everytime. Love the service and food to match
The pho is yammy! I went here a bit early but need to buy some food for my friend at hospital, the staff is so friendly and open early to prepare the dishes for me. Really appreciated!
The dishes are simple but also really well priced. Tried 5 different dishes and all were very delicious. Also, the customer service was outstanding and our server went out of his way to accommodate our requests. Will definitely be coming back.
Of all places in Canberra that make rice paper rolls I think this one is quite generous with the serving size and content of meat and prawn (most places just serve you vermicelli and vegetables). Good price as well. Would recommend it.
Was here on a Saturday night, staff are very friendly and always smiling, great atmosphere! Place has a homely feel to it.
I think the social combination broken rice is one of the better ones in Canberra and the soup is delicious and compliments the dish well! My partner got the vermicelli bowl who also enjoyed it very much.
The salt and pepper fried tofu was probably a little disappointing but apart from that the restaurant is still definitely worth a visit if you are in the mood for Vietnamese food
I'm a person of habit, if I find a place that makes that one thing great, that's what I go there for.
I love the Rare Beef Pho!
The family love the tofu salad and the pork and spring roll salad.
Great service great food.:)
Pho was quite good, nice quantity of beef. Soup was a touch on the sweet side but still nice. Vermicelli salad was fresh, pork was tasty and good quantity. Would have preferred greener lettuce as opposed to iceberg but minor point. Price was very reasonable and service was excellent. Overall will return.
The Pho tasted like the ones I got in Vietnam and the service was really nice. The lady bent over backwards to get us seated and settled.
Always ordered pho and vermicelli salad with beef. All good untill the other day tried a stir fry with seafood. For $22, practically all vegetables, and portion is small.
