Thai Cornar Restaurant reviews
52 The restaurant is right in the famous Manuka circuit. I was craving for Thai food and I am glad I found this. The staff are efficient and attentive. The menus are reasonably big and embrace many variants, all done well, while the food is fresh and fast.
In Chicken - Stir fry’s and red curry were my best pics
Absolutely awful, the broccoli in laksa has gone bad and tastes like from rubbish bin. Service take long and staff attitude is slack and poor quality.
Total rip off food. Poor quality overpriced. Just ordered a paw law salad takeaway. Almost half of container was stuffed with lettuce (wilted with sauce) and rest is grated carrot and a few bits of tomato with very little paw paw. Called to complain that Som Tum doesn’t have lettuce but owners not interested in re doing order. Plus the website ordering system said it was 15 bucks but they charged over $20. Don’t go to this rip off place.
To be honest, very bad service. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant ever. I ordered a yellow curry that supposed to be no spicy bit when it came it was completely spicy and the pumpkin was still row, when o asked for help they didn’t care at all.
Worst masaman I have ever had served.
It was presented in large chunks of beef which were increadibly tough and uneatdible, on complaining was told that the beef available was limited.
This was a lame excuse, would not recommend this place
We were looking for a Thai restaurant on Sunday afternoon and this place was open. We didn’t know what to expect but the food was quite good. The stir fry duck and the chicken and mushroom soup were my favorite dishes.
Very disappointing. The dishes we had bear almost no relationship to the Thai originals. Eg. LAPH is highly spiced, lightly cooked ground beef, eaten in a lettuce leaf. Ours was overcooked, tasteless mince served with a few scraps of limp shredded lettuce. The other dishes were soggy, soaked with”Thai sauce”.
The food is the star here - for lunch, not the cheapest Thai in town ($20.00 for Pad Kee Mao) but quality ingredients and flavour perfection.
We ordered 2 dishes for take away. Pad Pra Ram, lamb and the Green Curry, chicken? The restaurant was clean and smelled AMAZING when going in to pick up. There were lots of people in the restaurant which is always a good sign. Friendly, efficient, beautiful fresh Thai!
Efficient & friendly service. Food was well-prepared & tasty. Would definitely come back again!
Simply awesome food, i ordered the clear vegetables soup and fried rice (for 2 ppl). The service was friendly and super quick. Foods were really tasty with good portion.
This place is actually pretty good. Nothing fancy for dine-in, but the food is tasty and fast. Not too expensive.
Good, great 4 stars in general but the Apple Fish …. Taste sensation 5 stars! I am visiting from Sydney …. I will be back just for the Apple Fish …. Apple crack!
Great tasting authentic Thai food with excellent portions. Staff were nice and fast. Really enjoyed the food and was going to go back before heading back to Sydney but they're not open during the day.
Great value for your money
Will definitely come back here when next in Canberra.
Spectacular taste! Portion sizes on the smaller side of average but wow what flavour! Great customer service. Delicious! Well done!
Went on a quiet Wednesday arvo. Food was awesome and service with a smile. Hard to come by these days.
I am new in Canberra, love Thai food specially Tom Yum, I loved vibe of the place, and staff so friendly, helpful. Already been there twice this week, will go again, love you guys great job.
Tasty Thai food for good price. Made to order. One of the few places when you ask for Spicy they make it spicy. We wouldn't mind going and eating there again. Take away service was good.
Tasty Thai food that looks and tastes exactly as it should. I had iPad Se Ew noodles and then returned the next day for a Yellow Curry (ask for the Coconut Rice to go with it!). Seemed popular for takeaway too.
Great food, original taste from Thailand. Very friendly service from the family owners. Prices are great, perfect for family or small groups. The Apple Fish is extremely delicious. Fully recommend.
