Great 5 course degustation menu plus amuse bouche, palate cleanser and pre-dessert. Great service, outdoor area is probably nicer than indoor. Toilets well maintained.

An amazing dining experience, a must try when in Canberra. We had the 5 course degustation with each plate better than the one before. Pairing wines would be a suggested idea as the staff have expert knowledge of both local and abroad wines.

A sure guarantee for an evening of pleasure, Sage is our Canberra's No. 1 restaurant. The hosts (special mention to Rachael) are charming friendly and attentive. The cuisine is pure mastery. 5 every time we visit. Thank you ️

Mint bar actually and great outdoor location with interesting canapes but drinks, whilst quality, very pricey.

Canberra has a shortage of restaurants like this. We had the degustation menu paired with wines and mocktails. The food was light (except dessert) and tasty, not overwhelmed by rich sauces. The degustation is not just 5 small dishes but a lot of extra nibbles came with it. The mocktails were really good, too.

The food was lovely but one of the waiters was rude. Argued with us when we declined his suggestion of a rose wine to accompany the meal. Then he said we couldn't have a coffee at the end of the meal due to the next seating about to arrive. The thing was that the service was slow which is why we ran out of time. Another younger waiter was lovely and helpful. Probably won't go back any time soon though.

Our waiter Matt, and the whole team, really took care of us when we visited for our anniversary recently. The food was excellent, the wine was great, and the service was top notch. We'll be back!

Degustation dinner at Sage Dining Rooms in Canberra presented a “wow factor” with every course. Matched wines were superb too. Restaurant manager Hannah and her team have a fine eye for detail, including flavour combinations that surprise and delight. Fabulous!

It’s tucked away in a quiet part of Canberra but close to the city centre and is in a beautiful heritage building. The food is wonderful, the decor lovely and the service impeccable.

In summer there is a lovely courtyard bar (mint) where you can sit under the trees having a quiet cocktail.

Amazing service. All team members genuinely care about the special request. Beautiful and romantic place for couple especially on the special night. Foods are delicious. One of the most enjoyable dinner for me and my fiancee.

Outstanding service and excellent degustation menu. This was our first time trying Sage and we were blown away by the knowledgeable, professional and personable staff. The food was delicious and challenged the status quo. A big thank you to the Sage team, especially Mim for making our anniversary night special and memorable!

Had the most delightful first anniversary dinner with my partner. Midweek, reasonably busy. Waiter and staff perfect for us. Best vegetarian food I’ve had in Australia (vego of 35 years standing), partners beef was devinely rare for a med-rare man. Wine list extensive and well selected. Intend returning soon and would recommend to anyone who enjoys several small courses of creative delights followed by the sweetest of delicate puddings.

Was honoured to be part of their trial menu. Flavours were excellent and staff were very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this as a great dinner spot for a very good price.

Food and service is amazing! Very affordable fine dining restaurant. Was completely stuffed after our five courses. The paired cocktails were well worth the extra cost, but probably could have been a bit more generous with the matched wine pours. Great meal though, I would definitely go back if in the area.
