This Amazing Cafe have the nicest staff and the food is divine I will definitely be back.

I absolutely loved it. Fabulous food, good service and if you like, there is takeaway. I had the best calamari.

Got handed the wrong, and when I ask them to change she said it was the same as a latte. Might need to teach them the difference please.

Haven’t been to Rocksalt for a while. Consistently good food, wine and service. We are lucky to have a suburban restaurant of this quality.

Consistently good meals and service. A regular favourite ‘go to’ cafe for catch up with family and friends. Both indoor and outdoor seating and pet friendly for outdoor dining.

Great food, friendly but unobtrusive service. Exactly what you want for a post-lockdown catch-up with friends.

Lovely place to go for a coffee and a bite to eat! Lovely atmosphere and the owner is always there to offer a hand with anything you need. Reasonably priced and great quality food with large portions (added bonus). Highly recommended Rocksalt in Hawker

The unshowered manager was very rude and disrespectful. Smashed avo is also very expensive. We will not go there again.

I used to love going to Rocksalt, although it’s a hit and miss with the food and service. Although the owner is amazing and really looks after his customers. Coffee is always good though.

I didnt want chocolate powder on my drink but they put it on there and when i asked them to fix it they grabbed the chocolate powder with their hands and threw it.unmatched customer service

Great big breakfast. Coffee was also quite good. Staff and manager where quite nice and understanding despite arriving just as they opened. A great place to start the day or continue the day. Everything was out faster then I had expected and the water they give you tastes good. Would recommend people try it out.

Food is excelllent, my compliments to the chef. The girls ww2running the food were excellent, really nice and attentive. The only thing that spoiled it was the wait for the food and the cranky bossy manager with the attitude who was talking badly about certain cusomers loud enough to be heard. I work in hospitality and even at a lower end venue you wouldnt see this. Soured the experience overall

If I lived close by I'd go back but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again

Rocksalt Restaurant is one of my Canberra favs. The food here is always awesome and definitely try the vegetarian breakfast. It's super scrumptious and filling. I also recommend the Eggs Benedict, with bacon. It’s deeeelicious! Prices are reasonable and the service here is impeccable!

Hidden gem in Hawker that is great for early morning coffee on the way to work or a sit down breakfast or lunch.

Was looking forward to the opportunity to eat out again after shutdown. My mother wanted to go to Rocksalt Restaurant for lunch.

We found the service was timely, welcoming and friendly. The menu was limited but varied.

We decided on the calamari salad which when on presentation looked devine. Unfortunately the calamari was too tough and chewy and we unable to eat it.

We provided feedback to the waiting staff, who apologised but did not offer any type of compensation, which was disappointing.

Have had coffee here a few times and it's okay, not great just okay. My daughter-in-law went there recently. She had to order inside and after ordering was told she would have to move her pram outside. While she was outside she needed to feed her new baby and started discretely breast-feeding. She was told she couldn't do that as it upset the other customers. I'm not sure they can even legally prohibit breast-feeding. Irrespective, our family will never, NEVER go there again.
