Phillip Medical & Dental Centre

I appreciate the services offered by the Phillip Medical and Dental Centre. The service allowed me to receive, at short notice, symptom diagnosis from Dr Ooi without requiring attention from Canberra Hospital Outpatients.
The attention received was professionally thorough, affordable, and timely. I applaud the doctor and this service.

The only good thing about this MC is that it has long opening hours and you can almost always get an appointment at short notice if you just need some antibiotics for your kid.
The doctors don't seem to want to be there.

Hubby came off his mountain bike and they had him straight in with the doctor, x-rayed, CT scanned, plastered and home within in a couple of hours. Thank you!

I took my son there on 22/7. There was only one doctor I think. He was very rude. He made us feel very uncomfortable. He didn't even see my son properly feels like wants to get rid of us as soon as.

Calm and efficient service at reception followed by a professional diagnosis and treatment plan by Dr Gupta.

Had an appointment on Sunday 11/06/2023 afternoon. Receptionist was cold and non-engaging. At the end of my appointment we had to give her a sample and she didn’t acknowledge it twice. After payment we had to remind her again. She passed us a basket and we put the sample in, then she turned around and threw the sample to the desk behind her. The whole time she didn’t say a single word or make eye contact. We came here for help but left feeling worried and unsure if the sample with be sent. The GP was great and did a wonderful job.

Doctors here deal with you as if he is about to tell you to gtfo; he is sick of his job and has started to hate humanity

From the time you enter to the time you leave the premises, you will have a feeling that someone will abuse you for absolute no reason.

Why is everyone so grumpy here from receptionists to the GP s?

Even the doctors seem to be praying that they die soon

P.s. I never post reviews, but felt like a scared cat so many times that thought to give my doctor bois of Phillip Medical and Dental centre a shoutout.

Visited Phillip Medical today 12/6/23 for follow up with Dr Jaiswal cannot speak more highly of him. He took his time to explain results of my recent tests and discussed in detail and suggested exercises and what other treatments will help me with my health problems. Dr Jaiswal takes his time with his patients listening to their concerns and provides his opinion and treatment plans

You book an appointment and you are in on time. My previous doctor had me waiting up to an hour after my scheduled time.

I've been there. All the workers are amazing especially "Apurva". She's so friendly and kind.

My normal dr was away so I took my 2 yr old in to Phillip medical centre with mouth blisters and fever the dr said it was the start of cold sores, he didn't even bother checking her temperature, ears, chest anything until I asked. I knew what he was saying wasn't right, the next day I got into see my usual dr and it was hand foot and mouth disease, he couldn't believe that the other dr had misdiagnosed something so obvious and common. This wasn't the 1st time I'd had a horrible experience with the doctors at this centre!

Good experience with the Admin staff. They were very supportive. Dr. Gupta and Jaiswal were very caring.

Doctors were very helpful I didn’t had appointment but the receptionist helped me a lot to get appointment. Very supportive team.

Dr Greblo is fantastic. I've been seeing him for a few years now and he's always kind, knowledgeable and thorough.

I had a very good experience with Dr. John Reeve. He was thorough, efficient and explained what the next steps would be.

I am updating my review to state the receptionist was quite rude to me a a subsequent visit. My experience with this person does not take away from the fact my experience with the doctor was positive. I’ve noted that this has been said from multiple people in the reviews

Worst receptionist I've ever had to deal with, rude and disinformative. Waited for 2 hours while watching numerous other patients called in before me. After 2 hours went back to the desk and asked how long it would be and was told I'm first on the waiting call list. Booked into another practice up the road and was seen in 20mins. Would have been nice if I was told to book appointment instead of left there to wait.

The doctor and his medical assistant were lovely and extremely caring. The receptionist a little cold and indifferent at the time. I would definitely go back.

Shame you don't bulk bill any more as on a pension have to choose to do i eat or go to the doctor's otherwise i like coming
