31Lunch time specials are awesome. With so much going on around the precinct, no cafe is like Orange Bean! It is a gem to go and have a coffee and lunch
Just ask the staff and they'll guide you through what's gluten and lactose free. I had risotto and it was delicious! A nice and comfortable and quick lunch venue.
Coffee is ok, food is ok, the wait times are horrific although the staff do a great job to manage this, I just can't spend that long in a line. Not sure how you fix this but that's how it goes. Waiting for takeaways can be irritating since on a cold day you will be squashed inside or out like a polar bear.
My 5 stars is for the Schnitzl. It is, quite simply, the best chicken schnitzl I have ever had. Did not expect to find this in a public service daytime cafe, but there it was. It was just about perfect. And, reasonably priced too.
Really enjoyed the fast and friendly service these guys had to offer. The food was great too and the cafe is clean and well air-conditioned. Thank you!
Staff are always friendly, it’s the kind of coffee shop where the staff remember you by name! Has great coffee and good food as well!
Found the two male staff behind the register dismissive and rude. Watched how they interacted with customers and experienced it myself.
Very expensive for what you get and I found the chicken schnitzel roll bland and greasy. Fresh juice was only partial as I watched them squeeze lime from a bottle and use mint that was old and withered.
Wouldn't recommend.
They need to work on their service. I felt like I inconvenienced them by ordering based on how the girl screwed up her face. Manager just chain smoked out the front. Won't be going back.
Best long black I've had in Australia for a while. Visited in August 13. Absolutely recommended.
Stunningly good coffee, great food, friendly staff and the owner is always up for a laugh. What more does one want? Highly recommend this place.
