Mini Train and Mini Golf Cafe / Yarralumla Play Station reviews
65Great play place for kids and families. Tried the mini golf with my daughter and absolutely loved it.
I wouldn't recommend the birthday parties as there is only one host per party. We adults were playing mini golf whilst the party was in progress only to find a group of children that were supposed to be supervised walking all over the mini golf course. This caused my daughter to be more pro active in checking on her son that was taking part in the birthday party.
My family and friends visited and we had nice experiences.
It's a good place for family and kids will love the train and mini golf courses.
When you need a cup of coffee and you can't make right now then you should go there and grab one.
This is a pretty good park with a small train that you need to hop on to get to the farm with alpacas, sheep, pigs, ducks etc to feed. The place is a bit run down but my son enjoyed it a lot.
Very enjoyable park. Nice family playground. Farm animals a hit, train ride to visit it. Great mini golf course to enjoy. Food well presented and tasty. Only negative is the maintenance probably needs attention understanding that Covid has meant no customers ergo no income. All up we had a lovely morning.
A fun mini golf course, 18 or 36 holes. The train ride was OK and feeding the animals was enjoyable. I would play the mini golf again, but would probably skip the train and animals now that I have done them.
Good fun, the kids loved the train ride and feeding the animals! They had french toast in the shape of a train which made there morning! The adult breakfast was very well done! Way above what I was expecting from this place! Great job chefs you really made the last meal of our adventure a pleasant one! Friendly and outgoing staff and the animals are a good laugh, just don't leave your cup of pellets to close to them lol.only down fall is I guess they could be a little more tidy around the train track and that's just being picky! Really worth it for a nice relaxing morning!
Great place for a day outing. Kids will love this place and the adults won't get bored too. The Mini golf and the Mini farm are the main attractions. If you plan on feeding the animals, which I highly recommend please do get at least 3 cups of food while you buy the train tickets. Have to get the train ticket if you decide on visiting the Mini farm as that's the only way to get there. After all this, Enjoy the cafe, there is a splash pad for kids but keep an eye on them as there are lot of slippery rocks. (Why? !?)
A real let down. We arrived at 8am as the website stated thats when they open, only to be informed that the first train isn't until 10am. This was very frustrating as there is no mention of their train schedule on the website. We were met by a staff member that had no regard for customer service. We were lucky to get a grunt out of her. It was going to be a 39 degree day hence the early arrival. We were also not the only ones who had arrived early, there were 4 other family's waiting around. This business clearly has no ability to cater for customer service or demand. We left and went to cockington green.
Love visiting. Situated in Weston Park. A great spot for enjoying a snack and other delights with children.
Fantastic place to gather parents and babies. Lots of parking, lots of space to have a picnic if you don't want to sit indoors and the views are fantastic!
Great first day out in a outdoor public space, people were social distancing with many s family playing cricket, birthday parties, walking, jogging, cycling just to name a few activities.
Miss 7, my niece, loved this park as "there was just too much to do".
We finished the experience with a coffee and treat at the cafe (very slow with getting our coffees) then it was off to they very nicrly cleaned public toilets before heading home
Owner clearly has no idea on how to run a business. Clean up your rubbish mate and look after your animals properly.
Needs a lot of work!
Half the 18 holes have had zero thought put into them. I wish I had not wasted our money!
Toilets were filthy and the staff / managers were rude. Luckily the kids running the train we're doing a great job so our day wasn't completely ruined!
Great little park in a beautifully picturesque setting. Benches for picnics and lots of grassy places to sit while the kids burn off energy.
Great place to take the grandkids for amusement or just have a cuppa while walking around the park
Went there a few weeks ago during the week the animals had no food, filthy water, it was very upsetting to see, it seemed as they only have fresh clean water and lots of food on the weekends.
Putt Putt good.but the food is no good I would recommend eating somewhere else.
Ordered chicken and bacon wrap and we got chicken nuggets wrapped in bacon.
Kids chips were half done.nice plate presentation should spend more time improving the food.
Advertised opening hours of 8: 30am. But can't do activities till 10: 00am. Also very expensive for what it is
