This place used to be good but the last 12 months has shown it to be a disgrace on the classic Chinese food. Very rude, over priced, small serves and the food is fit for the bin.
Do yourself a favor and go to the scullin shops, much better in all ways.
I won't return to this poor excuse for Chinese.

Great food and reasonable price. The service is a hit and miss, best to avoid eat in and stick with takeaways.

Last experience felt like a house of terror as one lady was being rude to all customers with no exception. I felt sorry for the owner after seeing at least 4 customers walked out or hang up the phone from poor customer service.

New to Canberra from the asian food capital of Australia, Darwin. Thought we'd try the local. Yeah not real good. Ordered the chicken satay sticks. Burnt. Inedible. Dry. No stay sauce. Crispy chicken was a schnitzel and the pepper sauce was watery. Ordered vegitarian chow mien. Tasted burnt and greasy. Daughter loved the vegitarian spring rolls so there's that. Sweet and sour pork was as expected. Had better chinese at a regional Country town food Court.

Very disappointed, loyal weekly customers for years!
Sadly tonight we have decided to find a new Chinese restaurant.

Years ago it was good, now it's gradually deteriating, food now seems to be bland, overpriced, not cooked properly also rude service, delivery too long.

I'm starting to guess why we tipped these people for so long. My partner has always recommended this place highly, the disappointment on his face tonight after spending quite a bit on dinner was very upsetting. They know him very well and treated him terribly when he picked up the meal.

It's not even edible, it's not cooked, he would love to go throw it at there door. But that's just not him it's already in the bin with two mouthfulls missing.
My combination short soup is terrible! Wontons aren't cooked and floury, it's filled with broccoli and wontons, it's meant to be combination! Especially with an $18.80 price tag!
My partner is now feeling not well.

Fook king, will be going elsewhere thanks for making up our minds, you have now lost more then one customer.

Dim sums where very dry. Our combination soup had a hair in it and we ordered special fried rice and got plain. After ringing to let them know we where told that next time we would receive those dishes free. After being a long time customer I wanted to give them a second chance. On calling to give my order I was told that they couldn’t give me the free meals that I needed to speak with the girl whom I spoke to. After stating that it shouldn’t matter a hair in your food is as bad as it can get. He wouldn’t budge on giving the replacement meals I told him we wouldn’t be returning and have now found an awesome Chinese at Scullin shops. Sue’s Kitchen 5 star.

Got takeaway tonight and the food was delicious. Fried dumpling here never fails me and neither does chilli beef - crispy and just the right amount of sweetness. Delivery was swift and food was still hot.

Not bad, but not great. Almost perfectly acceptable food, that isn't particularly bursting with flavour. Have only had take away, and the service is typical of a busy Chinese restaurant; not particularly attentive or friendly, and only passable for an Australian based business (that normally have friendly smiling faces front and centre).

Just had a satay chicken and had that much onion I couldn't eat it and the rice was cold and under cooked. The last 6 months they have been going down hill. Won't be eating from there again. Oh and the lady is very rude

Cant go wrong here.
Young male staff are excellent and a joy to deal with on the phone.
Food is excellent and fast.
Flavours are great.
Basic inside but larger enough for groups
Some dishes are harder to order take away as they sweat, so common sense is required.
Its such a pleasure to have local suburb shop with a restaurant that is supported by the locals.
Parking is at the door and free

Always had a positive experience with king fook when I lived in Florey I used to get it pretty regularly the food was always fresh and I always did a great job with delivery if you live in Florey or close to Florey feel free to order from these guys they offer great service and great food I'm not actually been into the restaurant as a personal experience Point but if you want to drop in and see what their restaurants like you can I've mostly ordered take away from them.

Hi
Every thing is right about the food. Service was great till a lady (I think related to the owner) joined. We used to go there twice a month but she just sucks the joy. She is really unhappy or stressed as she thinks she is doing us a favor just by taking our order.
She is rude and outright irritated and u feel like ur doing something wrong. It is not about the food.but just the overall experience of it is a bit yuck. So maybe takeaway

I would have given this a 5 stars because the food was pretty good. However the woman serving us did not have any customer service experience and even told be me to be quiet during the time she was taking our orders. King fook please tell your sister to just stick to accounting our another curricular because she just can't take orders properly and not friendly at all.

Food here is overall pretty good, but the star of this restaurant is far and away the Peking Duck, which you have to order 24 hours in advance. Peking Duck pancakes are up there with Simon's in Melbourne. Duck noodles are so so, but that's usually the case at most places. Chilli beef is also excellent and $2 corkage makes this an excellent weeknight option if you're lucky enough to live nearby.
