I rarely find anything to complain about at my local, but I'm sure if I was looking to complain about something like these self important foodies I would find something.

Great food. BYOG. Banquet groups and twosomes catered for. Small establishment, so best to book ahead.

Great prices, however the food is nothing to write hime about. It's good at the price.

It's OK. We ordered family pack B. I thought one dish, possibly the Mongolian lamb, had way too much onion, for some reason all our spring rolls were cut in half and were nothing special unfortunately. Other dishes were reasonably ok but for the price I can't say this is anything higher than 3 stars.

Ordered takeaway and was told it would be 1.5 hour wait which was fine. Went to pick it up and waited for another 45 mins. Got it home (5 mins away) it was barely luke warm. My first thought when ordering, was the food must be good due to the long wait, but it was very ordinary. Won't be going back.

I have been going to this restaurant for more than 20 years and seen staff changes over the years. They are a good, no fuss eatery with a small kitchen. Friday and Saturday nights are very busy (especially takeaways) so you have to be patient. For a quick meal, I recommend the char kway teaw or Shanghai handmade noodles. For large gatherings, I recommend the peking duck (need to order this 24 hours in advance), pipa tofu, four season bean and the pomfret.

Not bad, but not great. Almost perfectly acceptable food, that isn't particularly bursting with flavour. Have only had take away, and the service is typical of a busy Chinese restaurant; not particularly attentive or friendly, and only passable for an Australian based business (that normally have friendly smiling faces front and centre).

The most ordinary special fried rice and even a tasteless Mongolian Lamb, never again.and the staff are rude

Good food, staff a bit thin on. Just a few tables in a clean but non-descript environment.

Got a whole duck ordered. Pancakes, noodles and soup were delicious. Dumplings were awesome too. Dont judge a book by its cover. This place is great

Affectionately known in our house as 'The Fookster, ' this establishment is coming up on 30 years in business, which suggests that they are doing something right. Prices have noticeably gone up in recent times, but you get what you pay for. The cash discount has varied over time, but is currently 10% discount on pick-up orders over $40.

While they don't do a char kwai teow, the char kuen teow is usually spot on. The shallot cakes are something one doesn't see everywhere. The Shredded Pork with Vegetables Wearing a Hat is probably more impressive on a plate than in a take-away container. I really appreciate the 'No M. S. G.added on request. ' They cook in vegetable oil, or sometimes canola.

I bloody love this place! The people complaining about the “rude lady” obviously haven’t met her. She is a HOOT and the food and table service are equally excellent. You really need to dine-in for the full experience because no food keeps too well when it is sent on a takeaway journey… Hot and fresh is always best.

Finally, the business’ name “King Fook” makes me smile.

Is getting bad the waiting are not good enough not recommended to go I think Chinese Inn is better then them

Staff were super friendly in very busy times.

The Chilli Beef was absolutely delicious. Garlic chicken was tasty as well, but the Mongolian Beef could have used more veggies.

The lady who took our order over the phone was so rude. We just wanted to order takeaway but her attitude was like we did something wrong or we owe her money! She ruined our day for no reason. No one deserves to be treated like that!

Oh my god. Avoid this place. I don't review often but I had to for this one. As a Canberrean I am not going to let us all get used to the substandard service. The lady over the phone was so rude, that all I wanted to do was hang up. But my mum has taught me better so persisted. The food was ordinary. I ordered chicken and eggplant and the lady lost her mind when I said I wanted two eggplant dishes instead of one. As I did not speak as per her script she could not understand what to do next and started yelling. I don't think any place, however good the food should get away with rudeness and disrespect. I am sure she has her own set of issues in life, but when I pick up the phone to order takeaway all I want to do is order takeaway not get yelled at. So never again. And next time she is rude, please say something and let's create more awareness in a polite way.

Me and my friend decided to do take away food since it’s raining and was lazy to cook the lady who picked the call was really rude. She talks like as if I’m getting a free food from that restaurant. In this time of chaos, that lady should learn how to respect people the way her customers respected her. So unbelievable manner.

Worst customer service ever. Decided to get some takeaway, the lady was very rude and treated us as if we came to get free food. Eventually left, without ordering. Could not bear her attitude. If there was a negative or 0 rating, I would have give that.

Absolutely delicious and good portions.
It takes a while to get used to the quirky owner, but she is good fun.
