Best butter chicken in Canberra. Amazing staff especially waitress Sarah who was awesome. Will definitely be coming back.

The food was absolutely delicious! I was with a group so we got one of the banquest options. Generous servings, friendly staff, amazing atmosphere, would love to go again!

Had takeaway from here. Bhajis and pakora were flavoursome, as was the lamb Rogan Josh. Nice cuts of meat. Naans were great. Worth checking out this place.

We finally made it to this place after gazillion recommendations. Had Punjabi chat to start with and Chicken Biryani, Malai Kofta as our mains. This would be my most definitive Indian cuisine experience in Canberra. The Restaurent was in a quite, cosy space with service standards higher than any upmarket restaurant. Note to myself- the spice level is at par with India; so be mindful about it.
Lastly the Gulabjamun with ice cream was unparalleled; will see ya soon.

I would have given 0 star if it was possible because of the old lady must be the owner of this place. We been there for a bday party of my friend and had a 1 and a half year old with us. Ofcourse kids will play and this lady screamed DONT YOU HAVE ANY MANNERS to the one and half year old and She was being very rude to our baby and us. I mean if you are operating a business you need to learn how to talk and deal your customers. Talking about the food not even average, also the lady was coming again and again after every 5 mins just to check if we are done with the food even though it was not closing time yet. I would strongly recommend to you please don’t go there if you want to have a happy meal otherwise this lady will ruin your mood and day.

This was our first time for dinner and I have to say the service was excellent the staff were very friendly and the owner went out of her way to make it a most enjoyable evening. The food was delicious and plentiful. I would recommend Indian Affair restaurant very highly

We've dined at Indian Affair for more than a decade and typically this would be a 5 star review, however seemingly recent policy changes in regards to implementing a credit card surcharge left a dirty taste in my mouth. The end amount was minimal but if it was hidden in the cost (such as they would do with their food supply), I would be none the wiser. In a day and age where card payments are encouraged, this seems counter productive and just a poor customer experience after a otherwise lovely evening.

It was ourr first visit and we were amazed at the service. We went for my husbands birthday and were not disappointed. Sarah their staff was so polite and amazing. She took good care of us and even kept our toodler engaged and entertained. The food was incredible and service just amazing. Thank you for a wonderful dinner experience.

Very bad experience!
Chicken tikka wasn’t fresh, seemed they had re-heated or something.
Ordered two different curries, both were cooked in same sauce, fish curry had fried battered fish in the same sauce.whole food lacked flavour and balanced spices.
Never going back there.
Don’t waste your money, if you want authentic subcontinent food there are far better options. This one is terrible!

So good every time we visit, staff are lovely, dishes always well presented and beautiful flavours.

Four of us on a strangley quiet Saturday night meant we could interact with the staff in a super fun way, and we all had a hoot. Thanks for the orange juice, Sam!

Super disappointed with their service. They dont know how to make biryani and they dont know how to make tikka’s. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there until and unless they change their chef.

Had a delicious meal here with my friends. We each ordered a dish, plus rice and nan. Everything was so yummy and there was heaps of food.
