Found this cafe on Easter Sunday when we decided to skip the hotel breakfast. Our two daughters loved it, friendly staff, coffee and food were amazing. It was so good we came back again for breakfast before we left Canberra. Highly recommended.

Man this menu is everything you could ask for really, EVERYTHING looks fire!

Unfortunately for me I was absolutely dying with one of the most severe hangovers I've faced in many years. So I couldn't take full advantage of the menu like I would have loved to.

In saying that, everyone I was with did and I was lucky enough to try a bunch, absolutely sensational. My bacon & egg burger was perfectly done and the pickled onions was a game changer!

Do yourself a solid and wait for a table, it is worth it!

A very nicely designed cafe in an old building.came here on the Easter weekend around 1pm and surprisingly it wasn't too busy, hence we dint have to queue.we ordered the pork neck and mango ceviche.both presentations were very good nicely done.the pork itself was very tender but quite stinky, just smells as if the meat was not fresh when it was being cooked.the mango ceviche was definitely a winner, so refreshing and fills with punch.love the different layers of texture when crunchy coconut, sago and fruits being combined.the sesame waffle was really nice, I can really eat it by itself.

Good choice for brunch! The food was amazing and staff friendly. The ambience was also nice, given the decorations and good lighting.

The minus one star comes from… The door was a little hard to find, and there’s not even a handle on it to open it. There’s no staff at the door ready to take the guest in, so we just had to stand outside the door for five minutes waiting for someone to take us in, which was a bit unwelcoming.

Consistently good coffee (clearly the baristas have been excellently trained), great service & a lovely vibe inside - thanks team!

I'm not lying when I say this is one of the best cafés I've been to. Starting with the service, I was promptly greeted with a warm welcome and immediately taken to a table, the interior was warm and cosy, perfect for a rainy day.

The food was outstanding, I ordered the 'Donut French Toast' out of curiosity and was not disappointed, the flavours and attention to detail were immaculate, the presentation looked like something from a high class cook book. It was not too pricy either.

I chose to honour the name of the Cafe by pairing the meal with a Maple coffee (again picked by curiosity) it was nutty and warm, which is exactly what you should expect.

As a Sydney-sider, this Cafe was the highlight of my visit to the ACT and when I tell you the next time I visit will be because of this cafe.

I would highly reccomend this to anyone that loves coffee, loves great customer service, or for anyone that is in the mood for a sophisticated, high-class brunch.

This is my go-to spot for coffee in this part of the city. Wonderful coffee and food, and decent sandwich/cake options in the window. The lead barista here is a wiz with latte art too, very impressive.

Wouldn't usually post reviews but the two staff on Wednesday 5th Jan were just the nicest staff anyone could be served by in Canberra! Helps that the food was on point, and the coffee was the best we had on our trip. It's certainly a space where you can sit and enjoy a late breakfast and relax. Will definitely be back again. Cheers!

Highly recommend this cafe. The service was excellent, the coffee was good, and the food was excellent.

We had the potato fritters and the east roll. The roll was well done, with crispy bacon and delicious picked red onion. The fritters were perfectly done and the chorizo, while mild, was fantastic. Loved it, I'll be back.

Coffee: 4
Food: 4
Service: 4
Venue: 4
Vibe: 4

Tl;dr: Would happily visit again.

Seated quickly and our order was taken quickly also. Ona beans are great, not sure what they used for a standard cappuccino but it was also nice.

Only 2 service staff on shift. Venue could have used a bit of cooling, but the vibe and venue were great.

We got the chicken burger and donut French toast. Chicken burger came out about 8 mins before the toast which was weird and honestly it's fairly overpriced for what you get. $22 for a burger that wasn't that big and honestly there wasn't anything special about it, just a solid burger.

The toast was great and fairly creative with components and plating. I've made various marshmallow flavours so getting to taste Lychee flavour was a nice treat.

Overall this place is great, I'm totally nitpicking for the review, but would happily go back tomorrow.

Food and coffee was out of this world! Great friendly service too. Cannot wait for the next trip to Canberra to try something else on the menu!

I'm surprised the rating is above 4. Although the place is nice, the coffee is just so so, while the hospitality is below average. I came happy and left upset as the girl at the counter showed an unpleasant attitude.

Family came here for a late breakfast. Cafe was quite busy for a weekday. We were asked to wait for 10min which was perfectly fine. Once we were seated and having waited for 10min for someone to take our order, I had to go to the counter and ask for service. Female staffer was apologetic due to the lack of staff on floor. The only reason why I have given them 5 full stars is because the food and coffee was perfection. Dishes were beautifully presented and flavours were deliciously on point. We enjoyed our coffee so much that we ended up picking up a kilo bag of their Ona coffee beans for home. I would happily dine back there again with the family.

This place is clearly 5 stars. The coffees are some of the best in Australia and the flavour notes are very accurate.

We were both blown away by the food. The potato fritters (more like potato croquettes) are divine. The bacon is perfectly crispy, the chorizo is well seasoned and cooked well and the hollandaise on the eggs are some of the best in Australia, eggs are poached expertly. The avocado on toast is a delight. The seeded grain bread holds the egg and feta cheese well, and the zesty lemon makes it very light. I loved the cranberry salsa on the avocado. The balsamic and powder worked well to elevate the dish.

Best breakfast/brunch in Canberra.

This is hands down the best food experience that I've had!
The food was absolutely amazing and a perfect size to hit the spot, and the coffee was delicious and was presented with a beautifully unique foam design. The service was so fast and welcoming! We came from NSW and thought this was such a cute cafe so we decided to try it out, and honestly, we would drive back to the ACT just to eat here again!

Good coffee, good food. Can’t really fault it. We subbed out the bacon on the brekky roll for some mushrooms. And the brekky wrap was probably the best we ever had and certainly the first with a hash brown inside which was a great touch! Highly recommend for a brunch fix in central Canberra.

The Mango Seviche had too much sago…. The rest were fine, iced latte were great and the restaurant was beautiful
