Dosa Hut Indian Restaurant - Canberra CBD

Very bad experience. I always go to dosa hut and never felt so disgusted about the service. To be precise, the waiter do not say thank you after receiving order and give expressions. You need to ask for food, serviettes and spoons. And the cherry on the top is they will make expressions if you call them too many times. Now about the food.
1. The biriyani is blant. Its just white rice with mutton curry. The mutton is chewy and cold from inside.
2. The seeks kebab in the tandoor platter is dry and just heated in oven.
I would give minus rating if that was possible for the new management. The only reason I had to swallow the food cause I paid for it. Never ever going back and will make sure I tell the truth to my friends too. And I read the comments on reviews. They are rude and I am so annoyed I can’t even express in words.

Dosa Hut is the best Indian restaurant you can find in Canberra! The staff are so kind, friendly and very helpful and the food is the best! There is no where else to go to for Indian food in Canberra but dosa hut!

This time I had very bad experience.service was really pathetic, I was big fan of Dosa hut now I think I will not go again.

The service was very bad, I have been visiting Dosa hut for long but the new management are charging BYO 20$ for alcohol extra. The biryani did not flavour. Please make sure before you visit. I would rate restaurant 0 rating.

The service was very slow and wrong dish got delivered to us. The owner asked us to change seat while eating as there is big group waiting to be seated. It is worst treatment to customer. I suggest to stay away from this place.

We had our dinner delivered from Dosa hut and it was delicious. Every single dish was packed with flavour. Decently priced, the staff are very kind &professional, amazing service. Highly recommend.

Quality of food is very good.
Espcially the chicken biryani is too good.
Also would recommend to try the paneer dishes.

So yummy! The whole family enjoyed our meal! The goat curry was so tender and the spice was just right.
Customer service was fantastic, the food arrived hot and the price was very reasonable for the amount of food we got.

Thanks a lot Dosa Hut (under new management), you made me so very happy today! I was craving some hawker style Chinese food and you did not disappoint. The chilli chicken and fried rice tasted very similar to the food I used to have in Mumbai. Pure bliss! Getting all nostalgic now, haha.

Had the most delicious meal from Dosa hut. We ordered eggplant masala, rogan josh, saffron rice and of course garlic naan. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu!

I was one of the frequent customer of Dosa hut. But in my last visit I had a bad experience which I explain here below.first myself and my friend we together order some sambar vada set and also we order the second one with the clear notification off “please provide the DHOSA 20 minutes later.but the women who are serving to our table they did deliver earlier within five minutes which we don’t accept, because we are still unfinished the previous order. Then I refuse to take the second one and I again mentioned to “could you please deliver 15 minutes later meanwhile I will finish the first one” since there is no place in our table to keep the next ordered DHOSA there
after they took back the second order.once we finished our first ordered food, we are waiting for our second delivery. But the people who are serving our table so don’t respond properly and they are purposely delay order since then we had wait more than 40 minutes. I had mentioned in the counter when I’m paying the bill they are not consider it so valuable feedback as a customer from our side. I am disappointed with the service what I had.

We’ve always been fans of Dosa hut. The new management is doing a fantastic job. Food is really good and never failed to satisfy us.
