I've had the pleasure of dining at Dosa Hut every time I travel to Canberra and I must say, it is always an absolute delightful experience. The food at this restaurant is always amazing, each dish is bursting with authentic flavours and spices, do not pass on the Malai Kofta or Paneer Butter Masala.

Though, what truly sets this restaurant apart is the beautiful family that runs the business. From the moment you step through the door, you are greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. They make you feel like a part of their own family, and that personal touch truly enhances the dining experience.
Not only is the food incredible, but the atmosphere of the restaurant. The decor reflects the rich culture and heritage of India, creating a vibrant and lively ambiance.

As a lover of Indian cuisine, this is a favourite of mine in Canberra.

I usually find myself here ordering their delicious dosa. Their sambar is sooo good. And everything else I've ordered here has been great, too.

Service is nice if a bit awkward. Also, despite having eaten biryani hundreds of times over the years, it was an older lady at this place who taught me how to eat it properly:)

We had gone to dosa hut many times. Since beginning, we ate Gobi 65 biryani, which was for 17$ and tasted heavenly!

But now, prices are up, taste is bad, more of rice than the masala in the biryani! Like I understand inflation is hitting everyone, but at least don’t compromise the food taste, food quantity and quality!

Really disappointed

We came from Sydney, we had one of the worst service. The girl name casually on counter was rude and told us if we got any concern then you can go somewhere else to eat.
We are 16 people and they don’t want us sit together and order separately. She said you have to single order doesn’t matter you are 16

Then we said we can sit separately and order separate then they said we can’t give you separate table

In my 18 years in Australia this is the worst serve I have ever had

Don’t recommend this place

I loved the food. It was of great taste but I was pretty sad with my drink and had to return it. I can understand if person in bar is still learning or not really confident about how to follow directory and preferences of customer.
Proper training to the person in bar would add value to the restaurant.

Just had some delicious food with my friends served by very humble and friendly staffs.

I ordered my food to be delivered and it was superb. Usually the food tends to be soggy and not so nice when brought home but we didn’t feel that way with this order. The food was piping hot and fresh. Best of all, the flavours were so yummy! All my family members agreed that this was the best food we had ordered in a while. Two thumbs up, Dosa Hut!

Very poor service.

Our waiter forgot to put in our order. When they remembered, they only put 3/4 of the order in 30 min late. It took over an hour to get a fraction of our order. Worst of all, waiters lied about parts of our order being “2 more minutes” away. At the end of our meal, the waiter told us the dosa was not on the order at all. Despite them telling us repeatedly it was “2 more min”.

Mistakes I can forgive, not lies.

Doubt we’ll come back.

Excellent food! Ordered Goat Dum Biryani, Masla dosa, Tandori Platter and Chicken chitandi and this was pure satisfaction! 200 percent recommended! The best dosa hut food ever.

The curry was excellent highly recommended fresh naan delicious biryani definitely will come again.

The meal was excellent, and the restaurant and its staff are very polite and please support local business. I'm fairly pleased with the restaurant, and the new management was extremely pleasant. I can't say enough about how highly I suggest this Indian restaurant

Staffs trying to be helpful as they can but the food was completely waste of everything.will never go there, people who go there may not know the real test of Indian cuisine.

Highly recommend this restaurant the new management brought the taste of Indian flavour the owners are very friendly and polite.

Come out and support local business after COVID! They are absolutely wonderful

I ordered pav bhaji and other stuff via menulog, got else but not pav bhaji. We even tried to contact them. They didn’t even pick up the call. I tried like 20 times.

We ordered Andhra Chicken with bone, Dal Makhani and Chicken chow mein, the food was fault free.

That lady there counter was very rude.
Food wasn't good.
Never faced such thing in family dinner.

It wasn't close I'm 100 percent sure.people were still eating.it's just lady very rude.that's not hospitality. And that needed to improve. I felt so humiliated in front of her staff and other people around.

The dosa is surprisingly very good. I think it's under new management and the food seems to have improved greatly. The sambar is authentic and the rasmalai is amazing!

It was always amazing to have an Indian restaurant like this with such nice new management. It's great to have individuals like this who are so kind and helpful. The cuisine was excellent, and the service was extremely polite, kind, and competent.

I dined in at Dosa Hut yesterday and was extremely satisfied with my experience. Staff were very attentive and were considerate when taking orders for me and my family. As there were many people dining in, there was a delay in service, however, the kind nature of the owner made it much more bearable. Definitely will be coming back in the future!

Great food, the service was excellent with kind, passionate and knowledgeable staff. 100% coming back again!
